National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

We acknowledge the painful history and lasting effects of residential schools in Canada and encourage our employees to continue to educate themselves about its tragedies as we seek ways to show support for the individuals, families, and communities impacted.

To commemorate National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and to give our team time to further their journey of learning, Fluevog Head Office will be closed and all Canadian stores will have shortened hours from 12pm-6pm on September 30th.

In honour of the children who never returned home, residential school survivors, and their affected families and communities, Fluevog will be donating 15% of all Canadian sales made on September 30th, both in-store and online, to the Legacy of Hope Foundation.

About The Legacy of Hope Foundation:

The LHF’s goal is to educate and raise awareness about the history and existing intergenerational impacts of the Residential School System (RSS) and subsequent Sixties Scoop (SS) on Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis) Survivors, their descendants, and their communities to promote healing and Reconciliation.
