It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our Fluevog Amsterdam store. Since setting up shop at Heiligeweg 37 in the spring of 2018, our sole European store has been serving the unique souls of Amsterdam as well as shipping happiness to our dear Fluevogers across Europe for the past six years. We want to extend a huge thank you to all the passionate and endlessly stylish Fluevogers and Fluevogologists who made our time in the Netherlands memorable and truly special.
Fluevog Amsterdam will be open by appointment only starting July 30th until doors permanently close on Saturday, August 10th, 2024. Please call us at 020-891-4255 to arrange a visit — we’d love to see you!
Saying goodbye is never easy, but this announcement is especially difficult as it marks our departure from Europe. With that in mind, our European website will be taken offline on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024 and visitors will be redirected to our Canadian website, so there’s no need to worry — you’ll still be able to get your Fluevog fix! We’re committed to making this change as seamless as possible and appreciate your understanding. Here are answers to some questions we think you might have:
If I’m in Europe, will I still be able to shop online?
Yes, customers in Europe will still be able to shop online and will have their orders shipped from one of our Canadian stores. We accept all major credit cards, and conversion rates will be handled by your credit card company.
If I purchased an item from the Amsterdam store will my warranty still apply?
Yes, we will honour the warranty policy. Any issues can be handled through our customer service channel via email at service@fluevog.com.
Will my European gift card and store credit still work?
Yes, all European gift cards, gift certificates, and store credit will be converted to Canadian dollars and will be available for use in all Canadian stores and/or online.
Will shipping still be a flat rate within the European Union?
Unfortunately, no. Because all items will now be shipping from Canada, we will be updating shipping rates to reflect this change.
