Fluevog Seattle is happy to be hosting embroidery artist Claire Irelan for a beautifully scenic Pop-up Shop on Tuesday, August 29th from 3-7pm! Pop on by and bring a friend or two to check out Claire’s unique collection of embroidered canvas pieces and while you’re here, you may as well scope out a few of John’s new Fall ’17 arrivals too!
About the artist:
With a background in interior design, artist Claire Irelan has always been drawn to bold and bright patterns, fabrics and colors. During a semester studying abroad in Rome, she discovered her love of maps and the narrow curvy streets of Europe. After college she moved to Washington state and began to explore the beautiful mountain landscapes around her. It was during a hike in the Cascades that she was inspired to merge all of her favorite things together, crafts, maps and the outdoors, and began embroidering the topographic maps that make up this collection.
