Catching up with: Adrienne Pan (Moohk)

Adrienne Pan (it/its), winner of the 2023 Fluevog Artist Grant, is an amazing sculptor and performer in Ballroom with a passion for the Bizarre category. We recently had the chance to catch up with Adrienne (aka Moohk) to hear about the amazing pieces its been working on since accepting the artist grant earlier this year.

In just a few months, Adrienne has sculpted two different looks both of which have been used in Ballroom and is already planning a third. With the goal of eventually creating an expanded sculpture installation, the next step, says Adrienne, is to “build them into their own beings, in their own world.” Where this installation will ultimately live is yet to be determined as Adrienne’s exciting vision for the exhibit is still taking shape.

As planned, Adrienne has also hosted a public workshop focused on the history of Ballroom and Bizarre, which we’re thrilled to hear turned out to be a huge success!

We look forward to seeing Adrienne’s sculptures continue to evolve and can’t wait to see the installation when it’s ready. To stay up to date with Adrienne’s art, performances, and workshops, follow it on Instagram and check out its other important links here.
