Painful
I went a size down as recommended by the other reviews (I normally wear an 11-11.5 and got the 10) and the size was fine. However these cut into my feet and gave me really bad blisters. Hopefully they with soften with wear!

Eye-catching Elsie
I wore my Elsies on holiday and they were turning heads whereever we went... everyone wanted to know where I got my sandals! I also took a very big chance by wearing brand new shoes on a trip, but Elsie was no problem at all—no blisters or rubbing at all. The only issue I had was a little dye transfer onto my toes on day one, but that washed right off. A note about sizing: I am normally a 10.5/11 in Fluevogs and the 10s fit like a charm.

Worth trying in store, if you're near one
I went into store not having tried this family before and knowing they tend to fit large - but I had no idea how large until Phillip had me try on the 7's at the Distillery location (for reference, I'm generally an 8.5). Perfect! The lavender colour is even more beautiful in person.

Wonderful!
I bought these at the Edmonton store and took their wise advice to size down. I normally wear between 10-11 and was surprised that a 9 in these fit beautifully! I love that the straps are all adjustable and that these fit comfortably straight out of the box. Awesome purchase!

Beautiful and comfortable!
I picked these up in black recently at the Vancouver Gas Town location and love them! I stuck to my regular size and they fit me well ( I do have medium to wide feet). They are super comfortable and fun! I'm sad that I missed them in red. Please restock them in red!

Vog-enstocks
Great contoured cork footbed for the comfort of a Birk, but the stylish sole and leather of a Vog. These do run very long in the footbed, but not wide. I tried to size up for my "high volume" foot to get more length on the center strap, but the shoes are visibly long. I don't hate it, and I got that great tomato red color on sale. I don't recommend sizing up for width.

Get them!
So beautiful and soft and comfortable. They look like they would look clunky (like those sandals that start with a B...), but they just look cool. Got the red and I love them; the leather is just the perfect soft red. "Size down" is good advice - I normally wear a 7 or 7.5 and I got these in a 6.

Clouds!
I love a comfortable sandal and the reviews I read confirmed these were indeed a comfy sandal and to size down. My 10.5ww feet might fit in 10 especially with the three buckle straps.
Service was quick, I got these beauties a couple of days after ordering and they are beautiful. The sandal is lightweight, the leather is so soft, and a I love the style.
My wide foot actually fit, but the buckle nearest the ankle was too short (high instep here), and the back strap did not adjust. Since the sandal was so comfortable, I actually considered taking them to a cobbler to replace the strap, but decided this would add too much to the cost.
Sadly, I had to return them, but if you have a wide foot, these may be the ones for you. They are soooo comfortable. Size down though.

Just marvelous!
The red Elsies were bought for my friend, but her feet are too wide. So she gifted me back and they fit fantastic! Would not have bought these for myself because they looked big and clunky. They are not! I even have Born sandals that look big and clunky. Very comfortable. I recommend them to my friends. Don’t judge a sandal by its picture on line. My advice.

Love these!
I think these may be my new favorites. I wear these everywhere. Love the soft leather, the spongy footbed and the big buckles. They are fun!
The do fit big. My usual size is street 8 but I bought a 7 and they fit perfectly!

I bought of pair of these and they are so comfortable! The leather in the sling back is soft, so no digging and no need to work them in. So beautiful! So comfy!

Golly!!
Just got my pair. They are beautifully made and by golly they fit. I find some 42 short especially with a sole that has a raised edge but these are fine . The leather is soft and good looking buckles. I want these in eggplant purple !! More colours please.

Try them on!
I'm so happy I tried these on in real life. Most of my vogs are 9s to 10s in women, but in this I was a 7. The lovely Montreal crew helped me with the fit and added an extra hole in the straps to make the Elsie a perfect fit.

From a half-sizer!
My most typical Fluevog size is 8.5- when advised to size up or down a full size, I never knew if that should be a half size or 1.5 sizes for whole size only styles!!! I got these in an 8 and they are great- I have wide feet and very short toes, so there is a tiny bit of extra space in the front, but definitely not enough to go down another full size. These do not seem to run as big as last year's Sarikas, where the 8 was way too big for me. These are outside of my usual style, very happy I got them in the red! Ideal on my wide feet.

Cool and comfortable!
I ordered these sandals in black, they are the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever owned! The footbed is cushy, the three straps give lots of support to my foot. I ordered a size down and am glad I did. I like the look of them, casual yet versatile, I may consider ordering them in red, but am looking for another colour besides the red. These are cool sandals, I’ll get lots of use from them. Worth the money, for sure.
