*** SPLENDID SHOES ***
The Desmond are just gorgeous pumps! However, if you have wide or fat feet the width will not fit you! The length is definitely true to size, the 10 is a 10. I purchased the red ones and they are worth every penny. They make a statement and I wish that they'd come back in royal blue. This was my first John Fluevog item and I love my new pair of Desmond.

I own the black ones in regular, patent, and linen, they are starting to show their age after Years of wearing them alll the time. Most comfortable and most compliments. Please bring them back, I beg you!

Repeat 'Offender'
I saw it in the pink with black starts and thought, nope have to go back for these. The blue ones fit so well, I certainly cannot go wrong. I got back to Jamaica and they were sitting there waiting for me to try on. Beyond perfect, also things I had hanging up with nothing to make it come alive suddenly all made sense. Fluevog does that for clothes though. Which I knew how to upload my photo and show you my Desmond's in the wild. Oh and I did make clear that these are real size 12, did I?

A 12
Those of us who Vlog and are size 12 proper know that not all size 12s are indeed 12s. I almost did not do a review because there are so many on this shoe but I had to tell the size 12ers that this shoe and this line the 12s are for us. So even if this is out note to self, check out BIG PRESENCE family when new things come out.

Classic
I really really like the styling of this shoe! Unfortunately, the sizing did not work for me — my normal size 6 was at least a half size too large and a smaller is not available. I returned my initial pair of Desmonds (purchased when they were introduced some years ago), and have since tried with subsequent colours, hoping the sizing may have changed. Unfortunately for me, the size just has not worked (and I am unable to walk in heels where my foot slips out.)
I would still encourage people to try out this shoe. It looks elegant when on and, I feel, would have been an easy & timeless staple to my wardrobe.

Love these shoes, but they don't love me back...
I usually wear a 10.5 in Fluevog's but bought these in a 10 and while they fit perfectly, they are just so stiff that I always get blisters, no matter how many times I wear them. I have the blue and the colour is really just so beautiful, I keep trying; I am eternally hopeful that they will give a little.

PERFECTION.
The black patent ones just arrived at my mailbox today and are currently getting cozy with my feet. They are surprisingly comfortable for a first wear! I fully intend to wander around the house in them before I try them out and about, but I am pleased already! This one pair will replace TWO pairs of black work shoes that are not doing it for me anymore. They strike the perfect balance of comfortable, classic but still just a hint of badassery. I would be lying if I said I wasn't thinking about buying the blue ones too...
I'm generally a size 8.5 in Fluevogs (9s in other brands of shoes) and they fit well in 8.5s. Get yourself some, you will not regret it. But leave a pair of blue ones for me.

Smooth as Butter
Definitely runs 1/2 size larger. I'm a true 9 and took the sizing advice and went down to an 8 1/2 and they're perfect. No pinch, no toe crunch. I purchase these in the blue patent and they are absolutely stunning. I am in love!!!! This was actually my first pair of Fluevog "heels" I should say and now I'm sold. I want more! The toe lift just gives these so much character. I'd highly recommend these shoes.

The Most Comfortable Pump I have Ever Worn
I was on the fence about picking up the Desmond in black leather as I had not owned a pair of all leather pumps in a long time and was worried about comfort. All I can say is I am soooo glad I added these to my shoe collection; so incredibly comfortable and breathable. Took a bit of getting used to as the heel is an unconventional shape but I love these shoes so much, I hope more colours and finishes are added.

Simply the best pump
I have three pairs of Desmonds and would consider a fourth. These are my favorite pumps ever - they're both elegant and so comfortable I can wear them all day, even in summer without hose, and not get blisters, even when walking considerable distances. I have basic black, bright yellow, and floral, and I get compliments on them all the time - ESPECIALLY the floral. Highly recommended.

watch out for color transfer - unstable pigment
I've had the blue Desmond for a few years, only worn a handful of times though I love the style and color. I put them on today for the first time in a while. The surface has become sticky. And I have just discovered that the blue color is unstable and is rubbing off like crayon on everything: me, my clothes, furniture. Maybe the pigment failure has been fixed since I bought them, but maybe not. I'll be following up with the company to see if anything can be done for this malfunction.

Beautiful but too wide for my narrow feet
A beautiful pair of shoes. Comfortable. Great heel height. Nice leather. Only drawback: sizing. I have narrow feet and normally wear a 9 and a half...occasionally 10...mostly for boots. Bought these Desmonds in a 9 and a half. The length is great...pointy but dont squeeze my toes however they are too wide. Cant size down or my toes will suffer. Unfortunately my feet lift out of the shoes when I am walking, which obviously makes it difficult to walk. I love the shoes so I still wear them but only when I am not going to do too much walking, like at work. Plan to keep them at work as my winter shoes...you know the ones you change into when you get to the office after wearing winter boots to work :-) Wish I could do something to make them fit cause they are the nicest pumps I have.

I love my blue Desmonds but so far they don't love me back. I've worn them twice to work now and get tons of compliments, but man, do they dig into the tops of my feet. I got them in my usual Fluevog size 9.5 and the fit is great. I wouldn't size up or they'd be falling off. I'm hoping that with more wear, they'll adjust.

Love love love
Wow is all I can say about these shoes. These are my very first fluevogs and they are my most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I bought the floral and they are so pretty. I get many compliments at work from my customers when I wear these. Even my male boss commented on them. I wear these at least once a week during an eight hour shift and I don't want to take them off at the end of the day. Many thanks to the New Orleans store for making this Canadian feel special. These shoes are a work of art.

2017 Love Pumps in Canvas Black
I walked into the new Victoria store and I tried on these pumps not expecting to make a purchase. But as soon as I started to walk around in these pumps in the store and they were so comfortable that I fell in love with them. I love the canvas Black because they won't scratch/ scuff as much as the smooth. I usually wear size 6.5 in heels and that is what size I bought. The size 7 left a little gap at the back of heels.

Beautiful and mostly comfortable
These are my first pair of Fluevogs. I got them in the store in Venice Beach, CA last summer on a whim. I am typically a 9.5 in most shoes, with a somewhat wider forefoot and narrower heels. I have feet issues and am a runner, so I need to be careful with the width - too tight can cause me problems. I tried on a 9 in these but they were a little too tight, even though I liked the floral pattern on that size more than the 9.5s. But, I bought the 9.5s and love them. I wore them this week at a one day conference and received more than six compliments from complete strangers! They are very comfortable for all-day wear, except for my knuckle on my big toe - they rub a little there by the end of the day and I need to put some moleskin or something on the spot or I will blister. I have only worn them three times now, so I do hope they stretch a little. I also just noticed the last time I wore them, I must have crossed my legs and scratched the shoe because there is a scratch in the leather on one toe, but it's only noticeable up close. I do love the shoes and am now very much a fluestalker; I have a very long wish list, and I am making plans to visit the Denver store soon.... :)

I got my pair of Floral Desmond's today and it was love at first sight! Fit is dead one (I am consistently 8.5 in most shoes from here). The design is stunning and it's versatile. I plan to wear them with suits to jeans. :)

Flower Power!
I have to say that the floral print is the most stunning thing ever. I never thought I would own a pair of floral shoes but the fabulous guys at the Seattle store brought them out as something to "just try on" and I fell in love. Apparently, each shoe is slightly different which just makes them even more "unique soles" for us unique souls. Wore them to work today and nearly every single person commented on how beautiful they are. Eight hours later and still going strong!

With 59 reviews, you don't really need my two cents BUT these are seriously amazing shoes. I saw them online and really didn't think that I would fall in love with them. But once I tried them on in store, they are incredible. They have a gorgeous heal that you can actually walk in. They look taller than they are. And they are super comfortable. They are so much more beautiful in person. I also went down half a size from my usual flogs.

Love floral print
Love these shoes. Received a lot of complements in the floral and they go with anything. Even men in the boardroom commented ! I don't have a fluevog in Winnipeg and unfortunately these fit bigger than normal size. Now they are stretched too far to wear. Boo

I am a longtime Fluevog devotee and have never had any issues with the quality of the shoes (and in fact still comfortably wear some shoes I bought 8+ years ago), but after trying the floral shoes on in store and ordering online the leather cracked and tore after wearing them just two times although the fit felt fine. The floral pattern is lovely - it's a shame.

Avoid the Black Canvas
Love these shoes, super comfortable like most Fluevogs. Unfortunately I have worn the black canvas pair a minimal # of times and generally in good weather (maybe a rainy day or two) and the canvas is wearing off in multiple areas revealing large white patches. Would not buy this fabrication again in any Fluevog shoe.

Outstanding comfort and style
I have four (4!!!) pairs of these - THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE! And, of course, always eye-catching. First pair was orange, then yellow, then blue canvas and snake print. I usually wear 8.5-9, so orange and blue I have in size 9; yellow and snake print are 8.5. The yellow is tight and I would have ordered 9, but they were gone and I didn't want to miss out on that color. Snake print is leather, so I got 8.5 to hope it stretches out a tad; the 9 was too big when trying on. I appreciate the stability of the big heel and how comfortable they are to stand and walk in all day. Thank you for making these lovelies and in so many colors! John Fluevog, you are a gift to us all!

I fit most size 8.5 Fluevogs. These Desmonds fit Big I find. I would suggest going a .5 size down. But other than that, they are a very SOLID shoe, easy to walk in and SUPER CUTE!!

Best style EVER - make my legs look a mile long - and - they are so comfy! I have the black leather, the black fabric (for summer), purple, orange, and blue. And I'm thinking of a 2nd pair of black leather to keep as a spare. Because I practically skip down the path when I wear these! LOVE!

Fantastic shoe
I love this shoe so much you have no idea. I am a shoe obsessed (>20 fluevogs) and have size 11 wide feet. The profile is very 60's and pointy which I have never been able to wear without being in excruciating pain. Originally I got the orange canvas in a 11 which I wore to an art opening (so 3 hours of standing). My feet were killing me at the time but the next time I put them on I didn't feel a thing. I also got the bronze in 11.5 (I thought I would put an insert in) but I think they are too big. Now l also have the purple canvas ones. Next time I am stateside, I think maybe the black and red leather!!! Mr Fluevog, Could you make more colors in matt leather pretty please? This shoe is a winner and I want to collect them all.

Ouch!
These are some of the most uncomfortable shoes that I have ever worn. I have them in blue and I adore the color. Normally I wear a 7.5 in Fluevogs so bought them in 7.5 as they seemed to fit well in the store - but these are extremely tight when I try to wear them. The front cuts into the top of my foot and is excruciating. Moreover the material of the shoe does not stretch and mold to your foot as would be expected if leather. Unfortunately I will end up giving these away - they are too painful, and make me unhappy.

Disappointed with the floral shoes; one bland, one scratched sole
The Desmond shoe is beautiful, but the pair I received (Floral) were a disappointment. The right shoe is a drab tan on the entire top, with a slight leaf pattern, also in tan. Bland. The patterns starts mid-shoe and goes to the back. The left shoe is not much better, and the sole is scratched, as if it had been worn quite a bit before it was shipped to me! The return policy expects the customer to pay for return shipping, which in this case is patently unfair. My e-mail to the sales rep went out this morning and so far, no response. The shoes are going back, because at this price point, one almost entirely-tan shoe and another with a scratched sole, are unacceptable.

These were the fourth pair of Vogs I bought, in orange. I love the unconventional heel shape they possess; enough that I 'overlooked' the pointed toe, something I tend to avoid with my rather large feet. They're comfy (as far as I can ever be comfy in heels), stylish, and make any outfit that extra bit more daring. I'll be wearing them to an orange/royal blue wedding this summer, and hopefully they won't outshine the bride.

Great shoes but too small; horrible transaction
These shoes are fine, but I'll probably never be able to wear them thanks to Fluevog's sizing "experts." Based on availability, I ordered a size 9, which is a half size larger than my usual size of 8 1/2, and the order was sent to the San Francisco store for fulfillment. I then got an email from the store insisting that the size I had ordered was too big, and that the shoes ran large and I needed to go down a size. I told the person that in my experience, Fluevogs ran true to my size and that with a pointed toe shoe I was a lot more worried about having enough width in the toe box than about the shoes being too long. He INSISTED that even if I went down to an 8, the shoes would still be too long and I would have a ton of room in the back of the shoe, causing my foot to slip out. At this point, I agreed to go down to a size 8. The order was then sent to the Seattle store, which took two weeks to get my shoes to me (apparently, they could not get a shipping label to print out for my work address, even though I have things shipped here all the time, and I was not willing to waive the signature upon arrival because I have friends whose Fluevogs have gone missing when they did this.) Cut to today, when I decide to wear the shoes - they are excrutiating. Not only do my feet not fit in the toe box, causing actual pain in the front of my foot, but the shoes cut into my feet on all sides, including in the back, because the shoes are WAY TOO SHORT. I checked the size because I couldn't believe how small they were, and they are a 7 1/2 - a full size smaller than I usually wear and definitely at least a half size smaller than I agreed to. Unfortunately, I have already worn them outside and I had already deleted the correspondence with the San Francisco store, so I am assuming I have no recourse. I am livid about this transaction, both with the SF and Seattle stores, and will probably end up giving the shoes to Goodwill.

The cheeta was comfortable from the get go; the bronze were tight across the top of my foot and needed some breaking in. After a night on the dance floor they feel much better. Both pairs are a bit loose in the heel even after me going down half a size from my regular Vog size but insoles help that. All in all a beautiful retro pump that will never go out of style.

Really hot pair of shoes!
The store clerk kinda talked me into the red pair. I kept them in the box for about a month, but recently took them out. Wow! They are stunning with skinny black pants or pencil skirt. I love how the tip of the shoe points upward - a small thing but a great feature. When sitting on a barstool, the view of my feet is, well, sexy! What was I waiting for?!? I agree the toe box is slightly tight, but after the second wearing, it is improving. I want the cheetah pair but they are sold out in my size - too bad!!!

Desmond [Cheetah Print] -- Runs large :(
I LOVE this shoe. They are beautiful, comfortable, an easy heel height, and this print -- the Cheetah -- so perfectly me!
Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, they ran large and my size, being the smallest made in this colour (?!), meant the otherwise match made in heaven could not work for me (even with insole). I had to return them. And am left envious of any who can find their fit.
Dear John, PLEASE correct the sizing issues or offer the Cheetah in a 35.

Runs a bit big.
Super cute and comfortable shoes right out of the box. I am an 8.5 with semi wide feet and these are a bit big. Maybe it is the pointed toe. I will have to have an insole so they don't slip. But LOVE them still. LOVE the random look of the floral.

Fabulous!
I knew when I was on vacation in Vancouver this summer that I HAD to go to the Gastown store (on a previous visit I purchased my gorgeous Baroque Velazquez at the Granville store). I Have had my eye on the purple Desmonds for ages, and since they were on sale I couldn't pass them up! They were out of my size (11) in purple, but I tried them on in blue (which I also plan on getting!) and the lovely staff arranged for the purple ones to be sent to my house from another store. It was a great shopping experience. And the shoes! My first time wearing them was to a wedding and I danced all night, never taking these beauties off once. They are so comfortable! I hope this particular shoe stays around for a while, because I would love to get it in many different colours.

Stunning
I have been eying the Desmonds since they came out, but didn't take the plunge until a couple of pairs came up on the Flue Market. I have been confused on sizing - a lot of people saying they sized down, some saying they sized up for toe space. My "normal" Fluevog size is 11. I have a couple that fit well in 10.5, and a couple in 11.5. ("Normal" non-Fluevog size is about 10.5.) I got these in the 11, and I'm pretty sure I would not have wanted to size down at all. They feel good - no heel slippage, room for toes, etc. My feet are a little on the wide side with high arches and long toes. Anyways...for the little I've worn them so far, they seem very comfortable for the height. The edge along the toe box seems just a smidge tight when my feel get a little swollen, so we'll see if they stretch out at all since they're the linen, but as-is they're not bad. One note - the yellow color on my screen looks like a pale, subdued, sunny yellow but IRL they are a bright, obnoxious, highlighter yellow. (Just what I was hoping for!)

Nice shoes but...
I have the purple waxed fabric pair and the copper pair. Both are beautiful but the copper is stunning. But...they are uncomfortable on my feet (narrow 7.5), the sides are quite stiff, specially on the purple pair, so much that I am thinking on posting them on the Fluemarket to recoup some of the money. I will keep the copper pair because the colour is lovely but I will have to pass on this family from now on.

These make your legs look miles long, and are as light as air to wear. Buying in several colors. Did upsize 1/2 a size because of the pointed toe. I wish they came in more colors!

Gone Fluevogging
Some people go fishing for vacation. I go fluevogging on mine! Every woman needs at least one pair of red shoes. Red shoes can kick up any neutral outfit and make a bold sexy statement. This shoe is elegantly styled that if Marilyn or Jackie O stopped into the Fluevog store they'd easily snap this one up. These felt incredibly comfortable - like slipping into Cinderella's slipper. The shoe fit, so it was a happily ever after story. I had to go up a half size to accommodate the pointed toe. The heel height is great for those who can no longer wear the high heels. I love how these could almost fit into any era - has a bit of a MadMen feel to these. I'd highly recommend these to anyone wishing to add a wonderful staple to their Fluevog collection.

Kick off your boring heels and choose the Desmond!
While perusing the NYC store, I spotted the yellow desmonds and fell in love. I wore them for 8 hours the first time I put them on my feet and they did not hurt, not even the tiniest bit. The heel is wonderful and anyone should be able to walk in these babies. The BEST thing about these shoes, however, is the gorgeous COLOR! The on-line photo does not do them justice. They are like Sunshine on My Feet. Thank you NYC sales staff, and finally, John, please open a store in Philadelphia !! The City of Brotherly Love needs You!

Frickin love these!
I own these shoes in two colours- orange and black leather. They are so comfortable and feel like a running shoe. I normally wear size 10 and have Double A width feet. These are narrow with no gaps on the sizes and I had to go up to 10.5. My feet aren't very thick from under my sole to the top of my foot so I had to put an insole into them so there wasn't a gap on the top of the foot. I highly endorse this shoe!

These were a Christmas present from DH (although I did try them on in the store:-)). They are comfortable without looking like sensible shoes, and convey my inner iconoclast.

Canvas won me over!
I intended to grab these in black leather to replace my long lost black Mini Lily Darlings, which I have finally accepted are officially lost after being MIA for over a year. I was sussing them out on the site then started calling local shops to see if anyone had them. Heart and Sole had them, but in the black canvas. I needed them for an event that night so I went over to check them out. I was quickly won over by the unique spin the canvas texture put on a more classic pump shape, and how the tan leather on the inside of the heel highlighted the killer shape much better than the black leather would have. I also loved the brown accent on the sole which wasn't as noticeable in the photos. In short, I snapped them up and wore them right to the event to much fanfare and no blisters! Highly recommended!

Love but a bit disappointed
I bought my Leopard print Desmond less than 3 weeks ago. I absolutely love the comfort and style however after only 4 wears the heel on one of the shoes has gone missing. I had bought these for my birthday which is in 3 days. Hoping the store can help me quickly!

Wonderful heels
I bought these in the floral, and in the black leather. I can wear them all day without any trouble. The black pair was my Fluevog Day purchase, and they came out of the box and straight onto my feet, where they remained for the whole day, no pain. I want more of these, but I can't decide which to get.

I'm a fan
Just wore my blue desmonds for the first time today and they were a huge hit. Like others, I was afraid the fit was too tight in the toe box but going up a half size was not the answer as my heel would come out when I walked. Although the proper fit is snug, it magically works. I wore mine for five hours today and was just beginning to feel ready to take them off. Love the color and the overall shape. So sexy but understated at the same time. If you have a wider foot and have had trouble with pointy toe pumps, give these a try!

Love these!
I purchased these in the most beautiful nude tone. I wasn't sure about them at first because I thought it was odd that there was a slight upward curve at the toe but after walking in them for a bit... I got it! SO comfortable and OH SO pretty!!!

Fluevog wedding
I bought these in purple to wear to my daughter's wedding. I also bought a pair of flip flops because I have a bad back and can't really wear heels for very long. I intended to break them in before the wedding, but never found the time. I put them on at 9:00 AM and as we were leaving the reception 13hours later I realized I never used my backup shoes! They were fantastic, fit perfectly, true to size and looked fab. My daughter and her attendants also wore Fluevogs! Loved the note from the store telling me to enjoy the wedding.

BEST HEELS EVER! Survived a Week-long Vegas Convention!
I buy heels and usually wear them once or twice for events and let them collect dust afterwards. I bought the DESMOND in black for a convention and they were comfortable and worked great dressed up or down, suits or jeans or leggings. I wear these all the time now. These are by far the best heels I have ever owned. I am going to buy them in other colors. I can't wait to see them in red. . .

Best. Fitting. Heels. Ever!
I got two new pairs of 'vogs for spring: the Desmonds in the purple canvas, and some Prepare Guides in pink. Today is the first day for the Desmonds on my feet. I can't say enough about how comfortable they are, and how good they look. I have a wide front of foot, wear a 6.5, and these babies fit like a glove. How does he do it? John Fluevog, my feet thank you, and I feel so cool wearing these shoes that I will be buying clothes to assecorize my Desmonds, in that order. =0)

I was going wedding shoe shopping with my Mum and stumbled into this store in New York. I hate shoe shopping because I can never find shoes to fit my large feet. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The staff was so friendly and helpful and helped me find the perfect pair of shoes to match my dress. They felt a little tight when I bought them and I was nervous that they would be too small. They told me to wear them around the house and by the third time they will fit. True to their word, that is what happened!

perfect
These are my fourth pair of Fluevogs and I'm absolutely thrilled with them. As previously mentioned, these have that "look like a pump, feel like a sneaker" comfort and the shape is so sexy and fun. I went for the floral print and am amazed by how many outfits these beauties coordinate with. I'm usually between a 5.5-6 in Fluevogs and the 5.5 fit perfectly. Another winner.

AMAZING!
I went to the NYC Fluevog store to try these after reading the reviews. I do NOT normally ever wear heels. But, I need to for certain occasions. My feet are wider and have always been in excruciating pain in heels... until now. I tried on the waxed canvas pair and knew it was a winner. I wore them out of the box pretty much to a wedding and danced all night, with ZERO PAIN! These are worth every penny. I want to add that the NYC store did not have my size in black (tried on purple) but they hooked me up with the Boston store and literally had them for next day shipping. Thank you!

I want
these in every color. I'm NOT a heel person. But sometimes style, common decency, and cultural events like weddings and job interviews and shamanic journeys demand heels of a lady. You could walk to Mecca and back in these. Great width for your tootsies in a pointy shoe. And the big presence heel absolutely saves them from mid height, sensible, standard pump obscurity. I got them in the black leather in my usual 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly . I'll definitely be going in for a second pair in a wackier color, just for funsies.

Please don't ever stop making this shoe!
I love this style. I love it a lot. I have two pairs - one in the black waxed canvas and one in the blue waxed canvas. This style has a classic shape with a modern heel, and is absolutely beautiful AND comfortable. I tend to lean towards timeless designs - it was difficult for me to find a Fluevog pair I liked prior to the Desmond family, because a lot of the women's styles (for me, personally), are just way too 'out there' for my minimalist, 'clean-lines'-centric wardrobe. Finally - a Fluevog style I can wear!

Freaking Awesome
I wanted a somewhat dressy shoe that I could wear with jeans and a tee or a skirt and blouse. This shoe was it! I originally bought the waxed canvas blue, and went back and also bought the Cheetah. Both are now staples in my wardrobe. I am really suprised how comphy these almost 3" heels are. I am not a heel person, and they are easy to walk in. A must have!!! :-D
Size note - I went 1/2 size down from my normal size.

Desmond Cheetah Calfhair
These shoes have so much personality and are incredibly comfortable. I had originally fallen in love with the Presence Notions, which have the same print, but I tried them on at the Union Square location and they looked like clown shoes on my size 11 feet. Jenna, my Union Square guardian angel, brought me the calfhair Desmonds in a 10.5 as an alternative, and I couldn't believe how much I loved them on me. I would not have given them a second look if it weren't for her. The lines are wonderful - they elongate my already-long legs and are extremely flattering. As soon as Jenna said the word "layaway", it was all over. These are the first pair of full-price Vogs I have purchased, my fifth pair in all, and I will always love them. I secretly adore knowing that I always have the most fabulous pair of shoes in the room, no matter where I am!

Comfortable and easy to wear
I have a very hard time finding 3" heels that are comfortable, able to be worn with a dress or suit, can be worn for shopping or to the airport and overall, fit in with an active day that won't cripple you. These do that and more. Other Fleuvogs seem to be a bit narrow for me but these are so great. Room for your toes and the heel is very solid feeling. I do have the heels tipped and toppied by my lovely shoe guy so they will last a long time. Let's face it, Vancouver winter weather is tough on your heels. So great to have something offered here with a bit of personality that you can wear to the office, and no straps in sight to cut off the line of your leg if you're short, no STUMPY FRUMPY girl in these. Always, always have these available for purchse for us office gals, we need Fleuvog's too!

A love affair
I just bought these shoes on Wednesday and they are fantastic! I am so in love that I logged on to look at a picture of them while they are getting a rubber half sole put on. Obsessive much.
I have wide feet and bunions and these are comfortable for me.

Desmond Cheeta Print Shoes
OMG.. I ordered these shoes yesterday and already received them from Vancouver delivered to Trail.. I have LOTS of Fluevog's but I have to say these ones are my FAV..so comfortable they feel like slippers but look so awesome ... Love Love them!!! ,-)

Super sassy!
I ordered these shoes (blue) from Fluevog last Thursday; they arrived in record time, which was much needed as I purchased them for a wedding I'm attending this weekend. I had phoned one of the Vancouver stores to get advice on sizing, as it was stated online that the shoe ran a bit large; however, many commenters wrote that it fit TTS, so I was torn about whether to get my regular 8 or go down to a 7.5. The lovely lady I spoke with at Fluevog suggested going with my regular size as per her experience with people buying this style shoe, so I went ahead with the 8s.
Well, now that I have them and have been wearing them around the house, I think the 7.5 might have been a better idea. There's a bit of room at the back, and I'm worried that eventually with wear they'll stretch out and become really loose. On the other hand, this is my first pair of grown-up pumps, so I'm not sure if maybe they're supposed to be a bit roomy at the back? One might wonder why I don't just exchange them for a smaller size, but there's no time as I'll be wearing them to the wedding in two days!
Anyway, blah blah, all that aside, they are absolutely marvellous, and regardless of that little extra space (which may come in handy if I'm dancing and swelling my feet up!) I am delighted with them and can't wait to show them off.

LOVE... as usual!
I had been looking for a pair of comfortable, but sexy and versatile pumps forever. I spotted these in Gravity Pope (sadly, still no Fluevog store in Edmonton :-( :-( :-( ). I was going to buy the electric blue, but found that the unique heel and matte texture was more noticeable in the black (also, I own no black shoes, am always a sucker for colour). If I had more money to spend, I would get them all. They are amazingly comfortable right out of the box!
They fit TTS, and are great for long, narrow feet.

Unassuming pump is a sexpot
I tried these on in purple & blue in Montreal, then ordered the shoe in black from the lovely folks at the Los Angeles store who shipped them so fast that it was truly amazing. These shoes are SO much more than they appear to be! They have fabulous, sexy toe cleavage and the heel makes them truly a stand out. Run true to size, and are VERY comfortable (I am a pointy toe pump afficionado & they're NEVER comfy like these). Please make them in RED!!! FYI the purple is a fabulous shade & almost has a very cool irridescent retro quality to the coloring. ,-) :-D

Ordered these on Fluevog Day and they arrived one week later! Amazing!
The SF Haight store took care of my order and correctly advised me on size - I wear a 10 in Malibrans, they told me these ran a little large too, so I got a 10 in purple, which is such a beautiful colour.
Even though I've got stupid wide feet at the toes & narrow heels, they fit surprisingly well, especially with the pointy toes. Very stable. For 3" heels they don't feel high, either :D

The blue pair is to die for! A few days after purchasing the blue, I also went for the black one in Gastown's Shop Hop. This shoe is magical. After wearing them in, they are, quite simply, the most comfortable pair of heels I own. I am loving these takes on the classic pump by Fluevog, and I am hoping he makes more like these for the 'stylistically clean and minimal' crowd... like me! Incidentally, this shoe, along with the orange Miracle Medugorje, are the first ever Fluevogs I purchased! Two in one go... oh boy. I will be purchasing more from now on.

Electric Blue Beauties
The last time I visited the Haight store the wonderfully intuitive Jim brought these shoes out in purple & said they looked like me; they were indeed "me" but I was on a Bellevue tear that day and so waited a bit and finally got the blue. The color is exquisite, the style retro and very comfortable and I find my usual 7.5 to be perfect.

Was dreading having to buy another pair of black pumps (blech) for work and then I spotted these beauties online. Truly fantabulous. Amazingly comfortable and GORGEOUS. Love, love, love. I wear 8s in Prepares, 8.5 in Coffees, and 8.5 in these. May just buy the blue, too.

Beautiful shoes I can walk in!!
Finally a stylish pair of shoes that has a heel stable enough to walk in and a shape that makes your legs and feet look great! 1 of my feet is 1-1.5 sizes smaller than the other and I have cerebral palsey on that side so I have never been able to own a pair of shoes like this because my balance is not great. I almost cried in the store when I discoverd these shoes, they are surprizingly not too high and they are comfortable (did I mention STABLE!). I hope to see this style heal in other Fluevog shoes.

I purchased my Desmond's in blue as a Birthday present to me and I am so glad I did. They are show stoppers indeed. I have never said Thank You so many times in one day. Very few people, men and women alike, passed by without at least a glance at my beautiful new shoes. I generally have to go up a half to full size in my Fluevogs but these fit true to size. They were comfy from the start. I wore them all day at work and while not as dreamy to wear as my Malibrans they are great for a pointy toed heel. Out of all of the shoes I tried on these were the last pair I thought I would purchase. Am I glad I was wrong.

If feet could make out
This is what they would call the heel. Love the waxed linen. Love how they fit and feel on the foot. The black was sold out (suprised?) the colour on the blue is breathtaking.
