These go with everything

I LOVE these boots. I got the green ones. I'm generally a size 8, and the 8 is the right length for me. My right foot can be weird (post bunion surgery) and the right boot felt really tight, but the helpful people from the NYC store told me that a cobbler can stretch shoes, so that's what I did, and it cost all of $10 and now they fit perfectly (they also told me they'll stretch Fluevogs for free in store, if you're near a store, which I'm not). I brought these on a work trip as my only shoes, and they go with everything -- jeans, skirts, and dresses -- and are super comfy. I walked all day. I hiked in the woods. I ran through airports. These boots are perfect.

Love love love these boots

I have several/many pairs of Fluevogs including several boots and these are my absolute favourite!!!! I bought them at the Store in Toronto last year when we were living there and initially was going to go for another colour. But they only, at the time, had the brown ones in my size. . Luckily I was with my daughter and she said - you must buy these!! OMG. They are so comfortable, so stylish and fit to size - perfectly! They are so well made and solid that whenever I wear them I feel I have leather gloves on my feet. Solid seems a weird word but they just fit so well to my feet and sold just comes to mind. I have wide feet and these boots are perfect for them. I get so many compliments about my boots. I especially like the ‘distressed’ look on the brown ones since they are oiled leather. Now don’t laugh but when I wear them I always roll my jeans so that the Fluevog tags can be seen at the top of the boots. I want everyone to know who made these boots and that they are definitely no other brand!! A side note. They are snug to get on at first but don’t let that deter you. I have a wide foot and a high instep and after a bit they go on easily.

Best Boot!

I've had the Thursday boot in black for 3 years. They are remarkably comfortable and so good-looking; they've spoiled me for any other casual boot. I'm going to order again in green though I believe these boots will still last me for years.

Loved but didn't last

I purchased a pair of Vog Chelseas a few years ago and absolutely loved them. At first they were a little snug (wide feet) but over time they molded to my feet giving the perfect fit. They were my go-to boots and went with everything. The problem is that over time the leather split from the sole rendering them unusable and damaged beyond repair. I am heartbroken! I've been a loyal customer over the last 20 years and have owned many Fluvogs. I make the investment because I know the shoes will last. I never had this issue in quality.

Love the style and comfort, but....

I ordered these fantastic Chelseas online and at first I thought they weren't going to fit me (size 10; my feet are 9 to 9.5). The Thursdays took a while to break in, and loosened up considerably. The sole is wonderfully thick and cushy, and these became my everyday go-to boots.

Unfortunately the soles are only glued on, not stitched. I was horrified when the toe of one boot started to lift from the sole. I was about to go on a trip by plane and I needed comfy boots, so I krazy glued the gap. Since then the other sole is separating, and I'll have to take these for a proper repair. I've owned many wonderful Fluevogs, since my first pair of 3-hole Derby Swirls I found on the sale rack in the early 90s, and this is pretty disappointing.

These are clearly going to be my everywhere footwear

I am budget-conscious enough that I often wishlist ‘Vogs and take my chances on my size lasting long enough for a sale … but I decided I couldn’t chance it this time, and grabbed the Nimmo Bay Green Thursdays when online stock seemed to be running low.

NO REGRETS! Love them. I’ve never worn a chelsea-styled boot before despite knowing so many rave about them, but these are about to be for everything from a summer hike to my fall-into-winter about-town regular footwear. Fluevogs are usually comfortable, but these are a bit beyond that. They fit like a glove and feel like a sneaker, but with a great sturdy sole and stable footbed. I think it actually improved some foot pain I’ve been having. My feet measure up to a size 7.5, but I have a wide forefoot and high instep, so almost always go up half a size in a boot. The 8 in the green leather is perfect!

Gorgeous

I bought the new green Thursday boots and they arrived today. Wow, are they beautiful!! I originally placed my order for a size 9 because many reviews said to size up if you’re between sizes. In dress shoes, I am an 8 and with sneakers and boots I am usually an 8.5. Then I saw that recommendation was mostly for the red vegan leather version. I called the San Francisco store and Monika was the most helpful person!! She looked at my order history and recommended the 8’s and included an extra pair of thinner insoles. They are perfect in length and width and just a smidge tight across the ball of my foot, but I know they will stretch and be perfect! The green is a deep forest and I could not be happier with the color or the texture of the leather. These are worth it!!! Thank you, Monika!

Love the Green but none left!!!!

Please bring back the Green ones in women's 8.5 (men7 will suffice) ....half sizes be swell!! I'm too small for UK 6 and UK 7 wee bit too large... I got the Black and LOVE missed getting Green ones in my size!

Awesome

I got the blue because they are very classic and funky looking.

It’s my first fluevog purchase and I was unsure of the size. I’m usually a woman size 7.5, I purchased the size 8. They feel snug around the foot but the toe box is wide and long.

The leather is soft so I don’t even need to break them in, and the insole is shaped like a normal shoe. It almost feels like running shoes.

They would have been absolutely perfect if they were 1 cm shorter, but otherwise super happy about my purchase. I’ll definitely purchase more

New Fluevog fan!

I happened upon this John Fluevog shoes by fluke. I noticed they have boots like I use to wear from a company who's "originals" became a drastic disappointment in the past years.

I wanted to the style of the of boot but was too afraid to risk ordering the former favourite online out of fear of getting burned once again with the sub par quality.

I very reluctantly ordered Thursday's boot. They have not disappointed! I'm so pleased with the quality, the sturdiness & comfort of these boots. They remind me of the "originals" original quality. The boot feels heavy in my hand but once they are on my feet they are great. Supportive but very comfy. I've have not had to break these boots in, they are fantastic right out of the box.

I happened to see a pair of the "originals" recently to get a good comparison. The quality still seems sub par, the leather sounds more like a rain boot, this Thursday boot doesn't. The leather is solid quality.

I've found my new love! Thank you John Fleuvog.

These are the best shoes

I have bought Fluevog boots before but never could find ones I could wear all day: that is until now. These boots are great for work. I wear an 11 usually but got a 12 this time around and they fit so well. Super stylish and eye catching. I wear these boots with pride. They are truly uplifting! Especially in the brown! Goes with everything I wear!

Love these boots

I just bought the brown color, and couldn’t be happier. They were comfortable the minute I put them on, no break in needed. They are amazing. My feet are are a true size 7 and I got the 7 and they were perfect. I also have narrow feet, and they are nice and snug, but not painful. I would highly recommend these boots. They are going to be a great everyday, everything boot.

Love 💚

I have the red and the black. Black are amazing fit true to size and could skip along for hours! I have the 8. Usually wear a 7.5 -8 i. Street shoes and 8 in all my vogs… sided up in the red to a 9 but still tight across top. I only wear with the thinnest socks and on short shifts so they don’t hurt my feet too much. Leather wins over vegan on the comfort level. Buying the brown next !

Best Darn Boots Ever

I have foot pain a lot and a lot of crazy foot issues that come on every so often such as Morton’s neuroma, which is a nerve (?) under the smaller toes that gets swollen and feels like stepping on a pebble repeatedly. I wear orthotics and dread long walks. I have a couple of old injuries that flare up sometimes. These are very very comfortable and a lot sturdier and more well built than Blundstones. If I was forced to leave home and could take only a few possessions I’d pick these to wear. Also good in winter in northern Alberta with good socks. I use a shoehorn to get them on because it’s a struggle otherwise. PERFECT boots.

Love my Thursdays!

I loved these from the moment I set eyes on them. Wanted an everyday Chelsea other than the usual Docs or Blundstones. Purchased black in my true size 11. Snug at first but after a few wears (and achy feet) they have stretched a bit and now fits perfectly! Buyers should definitely follow the sizing guide and go up a half size. Desperately seeking a brown pair but they are sold out of my size. Praying they will bring them back!

You should buy these, but follow sizing recommendations

I bought these in the vegan red color way. They are real beauties and also quite tough. I have found them to be great to wear around town and also when hiking on the trails. My size 8 feet are wide but size 8 Fluevog’s generally for me quite well. These tend to feel a bit cramped and the tops of my feet will start to ache if worn for too long. I’d take the sizing advice and size up and wear an insole if you are on the fence. I love these boots so much so I find myself wearing these fairly often, but my feet don’t love me when I wear them for too long.

Hail Thursdays!

My tan Thursdays have become my new best favourite. So comfortable, light, warm they beg to be taken walking. Which I have been doing for days since I got them at my wonderful Granville store with its awesome staff! I have a number of Officials and other Fluevogs and love them all but I am in awe of my Thursdays. I wear size 6 and these boots are perfect six! My aching feet

I’ve been wearing Fluevog since the 90s and always buy my true size, so I ignored the reviews complaining about tightness and faulty sizing. Big mistake. Way too tight, not stretching—despite putting miles on them—because of the stiff construction and the hard soles curving up around the uppers. Ten days after receiving them, I have sore feet and expensive boots I can’t even return.

comfy in Brown thursday

I bought the brown one as I needed a pair of everyday slip-in boots, and with some water resistence ( I think its the first I see water resistent fluevogs, please make more !). The moment I tried thoses,omg the lightness and the cozyness! I can even walk quickly in thoses easily.I was suprised how they are comfy to be honest, So now they are my new walk shoes.

Black Thursdays

I ordered my Vogs on Nov 6 in black after getting bummed out about sizing comments I read specific to the red vegan option (my first choice). I decided to go with classic black leather on the basis they would stretch to accommodate my high instep size 8 feet. They arrived today and .... OMG.... the packaging was outstanding but when I slipped my bare feet into the boots and after the initial snugness wore off I near I was hooked. I wore them around the house without socks and it didn't take long for the leather to stretch. I CANNOT wait to wear them to work with some loud leggings or black tights. I am in love, thank you VF, you have a new fan for life.

Perfect for wet coast weather

Bought these beauties in black. They are a bit heavy but oh so perfect for the wet coast..they were tight at first but have broken in quickly .I went with an 8 which is my usual size .My only complaint is now I want the brown ! Love that I now have everyday fluvogs that I can wear on a Sunday hitting the trails ......bravo !

Love

As always I love my vogs and these are no different but they are a bit tight. I am hoping that some of you will tell me they stretch a bit.

Otherwise not as heavy as one would think and such a solid build I am sure they will last forever.

I have a pair of the Mullberry ones and love those as I do all my other vogs.

They are a must buy but maybe get help with sizing.

Love them so much I got both colors!

I originally purchased these in the black due to the waterproof nature since I spend a lot of time outdoors in the winter. They are like a workboot but slightly sexier and more bad-ass. The sole is very grippy and the leather softens with each wear. I just received the orange and they are my current wear everywhere - go with everything new favorite. The vegan leather was a little tight the first few times wearing them but I can easily get them on and off now with less struggle. The loops are necessary for putting them on! Love and can't wait to get more Originals!

More comfy (and stylish) than those famous pull on boots ;-)

Heavy boot in your hand but not on your foot. And the sole looks like the tread you would find on a 4x4 tire. I agree with comments about running a little large - I am generally 7.5 in Fluevogs, these have space to spare in the toe box in size 7. I do, however, find it a little tight over the top of my inner arch, may take it to a local cobbler to see if it can be stretched a bit. Or don a pair of thinner socks and see if It will stretch with wear.

I played new shoe chicken and won

I got these as a basic quick pull-on boot, not expecting the love affair that was to about to start. As the title states, I threw these on out of the box and went for a 5 KM walk, not something I would normally do. No issues, not a single one! I park my feet in these day after day and they shelter my feet like tiny comfy houses. Awesome on snow, water-resistant and adorable with everything. And as the little phrase on the back of the boot tells me, I will happily "Go Fluevog" myself!

LOVE these boots! 😍

These are legitimately the comfiest boots I have ever owned. Zero break-in period and so nice to wear all day long. I would even be ok sleeping in them 😆

I'd agree with Ruth's review about them maybe being a half size big but I'm a solid 7 and I went with a 7 because they fit perfect with my orthotics, under the insole they come with.

I've owned many-a-fluevogs in my days and these are THE BEST. A serious win! ❤️

Solid. So solid.

Heavy duty boots that are for every Fluevogging thing! Comfy from the first wear, elastic is tight so first time on is a sitting down job! Wore them four days in a row, no problems at all. Be aware though they are heavy almost work boots, but Uber comfy. Run a bit large, I’m more a 9.5 and these are perfect in the 9.
