If God Needed Shoes, These Would Be It!
I watched these shoes for months and could not get them out of my mind. Then, they went on sale, and I had to have them.
They are GORGEOUS and so versatile. I wear them as "dressing up" shoes, since I cannot wear a traditional high heel. The "flatform" design is stable, well-padded, and STUNNING. I feel like a million bucks in these.
I want to commend the Vancouver staff. I had these shipped south since they were sold out in the States--with shipping and the exchange rate, the cost was about the same! The Canadian crew spent a ton of time and effort measuring other Fluevog models to make absolutely certain I had the right size. They really went above and beyond for me,
I nearly wept when I put them on. Did I say GORGEOUS?! I am over 50 and superfly thanks to Fluevog!

Not so wide.
I ordered these online because the reviews said they are good for wide feet and a higher instep. No so much for me. I have never considered my instep to be particularly high but my toes are wide and try as I might I couldn't even get my feet into these beautiful shoes. They're sooooo pretty and I love the clunkieness. I mulled over trying to have them stretched but I would need a full inch more on both straps and that's not gonna happen. Too bad.

Yeah
Ive been a vogenthusiast since i got my first pair in 1987 when i was 17. Im now 53. I saw these and i had to have then. They make me feel young again as i wore shoes like this in the early 90s. They are true to size and super comfy. They make my short little legs look really long gotta love that. I love all my vogs i have a pretty good collection of them. I still wear them at 53 and i will be wearing them at 83. Love them

Cartoon shoes
These are nice and wide and have a very 1990's look, but not in a bad way. The base is extremely stable. I'm a 6.5 and on the advice of the Fluevologist, I ordered a size 7. It's the correct length. The strap across my low instep fits me well (though I hope it doesn't stretch!), but the strap across the toes is too wide for my average width foot. Lots of Fluevogs are too narrow for me across the toe box, so this was a surprise! This makes the shoe less stable since that part flops around when I walk. The footbed is soft like walking on a marshmallow. They're extremely comfy for slow to medium pace walking and standing. They're too floppy for running, so I wouldn't recommend them when there could ever be an emergency. So....only wear them when you can predict the future. Even so, I got the standard black sandal but am eyeing the orange-soled ones, now, because standing and slow walking on marshmallows is nice.

So Comfortable!
These are the perfect summer sandal. I purchased the black in size 12 (I wear 11-11.5 in muggle shoes). They make my legs look a mile long. The platform is wide and very stable, even on cobblestones! I suggest you practice a bit before going out, if you’re unsure. The strap across the instep was a bit tight but stretched nicely after wearing them around the house for an hour. I usually hate showing my toes but the strap is wide enough to hide most of my ugly ballet dancer toes. I “needed” the black ones but I think I’ll go ahead and “gift” myself the blue metallic. Shut up! It’s my birthday and Disco is back! :)

So great, size up if you have a high instep
I sized up a whole size (6 to 7) which is pretty unusual for me, especially in a sandal. Since there are no half sizes it works and I bought the "blue metallic" and they are fantastic. I also have the Fizzy patchwork from this family and bought my regular size. They are a bit heavy and might take some getting used to but I had no problems wearing them for several hours out and about.
