Description
Plotting the return of a vintage Fluevog is more stressful than you may think. Hear the word ‘Munsters’ and a wave of hot anticipation hits the Fluniverse! As a result, John put every drop of thought and soul into the creation of The Deee. With a nod and a wink to the equally iconic band that showcased a pair of Munsters on the cover of their debut album back in 1990, they are a pair of platform sandals we think Lady Miss Kier could still rock (which is why we sent her a pair). Crafted from smash hit leathers in Portugal, they feature a twisted knot pattern over the foot, a custom skull buckle, a 1.5" platform and a 4.5" leather wrapped heel. Groove is in the heart.

Neon pink and orange, not what I expected
I ordered the new Pink Anna Sui Deees and they were definitely not what I was expecting, The base is a very neon orange/pink patent leather and the pink bow is matte leather in neon pink. I've looked at these on multiple devices and never noticed how neon they are. They also arrived with some scuff marks and crinkled patent leather, glue showing and a couple of sharp black plastic pieces sticking off the heal and sole. Not a big deal but all of that combined with the shocking color, I'm not sure if I'm willing to keep these. The fit is true and they are comfortable. I love Munsters, just not sure I will ever wear these.

Command attention
These shoes command attention, I've gotten so many comments! I have medium width 8.5-9 size feet and I ordered these in a 9 in teal and they are perfect. I was worried that the leather knot might irritate at the open toe but as others have said, these are SO COMFORTABLE and the platform makes the height very stable. Eye-popping party shoes? CHECK. Highly recommend :)

These are my ghetto blasters, Go Dee!
Another addition to my ever expanding Vog collection, these are my first "out on a limb" pair and not to disappoint! I ordered them while driving through SD and HAD to have them and Dee-lightfully decided to pick them up during John Fluevog days in my local store in the Twin Cities. What a commotion and perfect time to sport them all while meeting John and other local fans.... I inspired three more sales that day! They are comfortable and beautifully appointed with that amazing real hue and ornate buckle, they are not to be missed! They run true to size if a tad small- if in doubt, order up a size! I recently sported them this past weekend at the Bryan Ferry concert and was spotted out of the concert crowd by other fellow bloggers as we shared our love for JF and compared styles .... I love these amazing platforms!

Freaking COMFORTABLE !
I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE THESE SHOES . I WEAR A SIZE 11 , ordered a size 12. The shoes I bought before , a different style were an 11 1/2 , they were still too small ! I have a large foot . Me toes were all squished up in those . This Stlye I could tell would prolly fit me better , so I took a chance ! Even ordered the other color too , Teal ! I was not disappointed ! They are so easy to walk In as well !!! Right on ! Love Love Love them. I will be wearing these a lot !!!! Not just for show !

How do you say Deee-lightful?
The first pair of Fluevogs I ever fell in love with were Munsters after watching them in the Groove is in the Heart video. Imagine my glee when a NEW Munster hit the shelves... right in time with the Edmonton store opening, just a 20 minute walk from my home. Like all good relationships that are meant to last, things just lined up for these beauties to be mine!
They fit true to size (I usually wear an 8 and bought an 8 in these). And while you may think a 4.5 inch platform heel would equate to sore feet, you'd be wrong. There is a good amount of cushion to the foot bed of these beauties, also, the straps wrap so sweetly around my feet, and the leather is buttery soft. The teal is even prettier in person than on the web too!
I meant to only try these on, and wait till Fluevog Day to come back for them, but I fell too hard & too fast... they had to come home with me right then!
Big thanks to Michayla at the Edmonton store for hooking me up with these... DEEE-lighted that they are mine!!
