Description
Through the decades, John has found that a mix of focus and fearlessness will keep you out in front of the pack. Named for a famous racing driver, the daring Foyt is made from smooth or tumbled nubuck leathers with silver studs and a spinning, custom nuts-and-bolts buckle. The boxy lines were inspired by the front end of the Vauxhall Carlton MK1, and custom rubber F-Soles give you plenty of traction for the twists and turns of any race you run.

5 stars for look, 3 stars for comfort
I love the way these look and wanted them for my everyday wear, however, I'm finding the break in period to be pretty rough. The sole is very hard and doesn't have much give. Since the footbed is leather, I feel like (or hope) that it will mould to my foot and get comfy. I just wish it was softer right off the bat. I'm usually about a 8.5, but bought these in a 7. I have wide feet and narrow heels.

Do size down, but worth it
I'm a street 9.5/10 women's and got the W8. Love these so much and get tons of compliments on them! No break-in period and can wear them for ages walking.

HUGE
I bought these used on the Fluemarket and they are clearly marked 11W but they are more like a 13W. They LOOK like a men's 13, tbh. I think they may have been mismarked. Gorgeous shoes but absolutely enormous.

I saw the review below and thought getting. 7 would be crazy so I asked a Fluevogist for help when I ordered. I am a street 9 and the Fluevogist said a 9 would fit me which was wrong. My feet are 10”long and the shoe is 11” long.
