When John and the Design Team challenged themselves to create a really high Swordfish boot, you had to know that they’d come out on top. Borrowing all the best traits from our bestselling Cubist Cupcake, The Abstract Candy boot is like a sugar high without any of the crashing and we have a feeling you’ll want a taste!

Slightly narrow in the toe, so average and wider feet should size up. If your calf measures over 16" you may need longer laces. The shaft/tongue is a bit tall on people under 5'5".

I love these boots
Oh well, this is my fifth pair of Swordfish boots . This orange color is to die for. I'm gonna rock them with outfit that I want wear because I can. This style of boot is a forever a favorite of mine. Each time I wear a pair, I get so many compliments and questions " oh my goodness I love those boot and where did you get those boots" . I went up a 1/2 size this time and it does make a difference in this particular style of boot. I'm glad I went on and purchased the last pair in my size. Been watching these bad boy boots for a couple of years and the price was just right...;. I look forward to the new style and flare in the Swordfish boot.

Best boots/service ever!
My bf completely surprised me for my 50th by arranging for the manager of the Calgary store to keep the store open for me after hours. I was shocked & in heaven when we showed up & I was informed that I could shop for anything I wanted! The manager had arranged to have a few of my favourites brought into the store in my size (omg the service she provided was impeccable!) & was very discreet when I burst into tears at the amazing experience. I had a hard time choosing between the orange suede & the black, eventually choosing the black (so I could wear them constantly!). I am a 9 street size, medium width, high instep, average calf. The 9.5 fits like a dream. Thx to the mgr for an experience I’ll never forget! Vogs 4ever!

For the broken hearted belt buckle girl from Coquitlam
So if you have large calves remember that you can buy a belt hole leather punch online for under 20 bucks and if the strap is long enough all you have to do is punch a hole in it and you can have your dream boots, obviously there would be no take backsy's but if they fit why would you ever take a Fluevog back?

So witchy!!
I have long wanted a pair of Fluevogs and I finally purchased my first pair! This boot in black is divine! I was worried about how they would fit my calves. 20 years ago I was in a car accident that has left me with permanent swelling in my left leg giving me a 1-1.5” circumstance difference between my legs (from my thighs to my ankles 🙄) But, I am really happy to say that these sexy boots can (snuggly) accommodate my 15 &16” calves. The swordfish collection of shoes is my FAVORITE. So witchy 🖤
I’m normally a size 10 womens with a wider foot. And of course the large calves. I purchased a size 11 and am really happy with the amount of foot room I have.

My Fav Pair Yet!!!!
I have 7 pairs of swordfish and cubist cupcake and these are MY FAVORITE!!!!! They are amazingly comfortable, sexy as hell and so functional for any size calf!!! These are A1 and I want to never take them off!!! Comfortable right out of the box! I am in LOVe!!!

The perfect boot doesn't exi--
The Abstract Candy in floral turn me into Eloise at the Plaza--OOOH, I love these boots. They are gorgeous, head-turning, and very wearable for a 3.25" heel. And not only do the boots qualify as wearable art, the customer service is unparalleled. My pair arrived with a slight snag on one lace, and the teams at the Manhattan and Minneapolis stores coordinated to send me two sets of backup laces.
They are absolutely stunning from top to toe, and I never want to take them off--I almost wore them to bed the first time I tried them on. I'm typically a size 8, 8.5 in Fluevogs, and I take an 8.5 in these. I have narrow ankles and calves, but the laces make this a fairly adjustable style.

OMG! Perfection!
I ordered the limited floral pattern yesterday and literally less than 24 hours later they were at my door. The service at Fluevog is second to none - they're an amazing team from coast-to-coast.
These boots are a dream come true!!! This is my 4th pair from the Swordfish family and they are completely divine.
Gorgeous, beautiful, comfortable. The heal is over 3" so I don't plan to run a marathon (or even a block1) in them. They're stunning and just great quality overall.
The material and pattern - beautiful.
I have a wider foot and typically an 11.5 in Fluevogs works for me (although I have some 11s and one family in 12). The Swordfish is a solid 11.5 size wise for me.

These boots are a dream!!!
First of all, shout out to Petrea at the A'dam store for making sure I ordered the right size. I highly recommend going up at least a half-size with these.
I have been lusting after these boots since I first saw them on the website and decided to splurge for my birthday. Boy am I glad I did.
From the first moment I slipped my foot in these glorious, tall shaft boots, I felt like a goddess. Not only do they add tons of attidue to any outfit you pair with them, they are surprising comfortable for 3.5 inches heels.
These boots are easily the best life choice I have made in awhile.

Must have boots
These are absolutely gorgeous boots, right down to the packing! Thank you Sarah (Edmonton store) for taking the time to package these babies up and include a hand written note :) The fit is perfect but I do wear a nylon in them, perhaps a half size up if you wanted to wear a sock. The care instructions are gratefully received - thank You for making sure I take care of these gems the right way. Ooo, bring on the fall weather so I can rock these boots every day !! Cheers.

GORGEOUS! PERFECT!! Except...
These are my dream boots. They’re gorgeous in every way. I wouldn’t normally have tried them because I have wider calves. I was soooooo hopeful after reading another review about them working on 19” calves. I have 18” calves and bought the 11.5. The foot is a perfect fit (I’m an 11 - 11.5 in Fluevigs) but there’s not a hope in heck I’m going to get the top buckle closed around my calves.
Saddest girl in the world today that these beauties have to go back. Very happy for the next person these DO work for. You will NOT regret this purchase!! I’m totally jealous!

Amazing boots!
I bought these in a size 12 and they fit great!! I have 19" calves and other than needing longer laces they still work perfect for my leg shape. I am a street size 11 but buy all my fluevogs in a 12. These are roomier than my Postmodern Slushy booties but not as roomy as my Isenberg boots. Very comfy and the softest leather ever!!
