  • Beautiful AND Comfortable

These just arrived. They fit perfectly in the length they are a tad wide and the strap is a little loose. They do have a short toe box, but are fine in my usual Fluevog size which is a full size up from my street size. Lots of toe wiggle room doesn’t even hurt my broken middle toe. I’m thrilled with these so cute dressy shoes. They are super comfortable I know I could wear these for hours & still love them. I don’t even notice the heel height because of the platform sole. I will get a heel hugger though because of the loose strap. Nice to be able to just slip them on & not bother with a buckle & strap. John Fluevog nailed it again with beauty, style & comfort. Thank You!

  • OMG

These are everything I imagined. SO happy to see the daisies are embroidered. AMAZING! I wear a 10, they do run a bit larger, I can't express how perfect these are.

  • ❤ Comfort for extended lockdown

Love these when they were out. Missed out on the early sale. But I looked at the website again recently. My size was there! Perhaps someone returned them. So happy to receive these in the mail! Agreeing with others that it is 1/2 too big. But having room for wide amd swollen feet in hot weather will be a bonus. Or I could add a half sole. However, it is not loose even within. Thank you, John, for choosing this design in the Open competition! Makes my day! Can't wait till lockdown is over and I need to find an occasion to wear these. 😍

  • Finally!!

I have always loved the Zaza but could never get it to fit! It’s odd that so many say to size down. I had to size up to an 11.5! They are just a tad too big. I normally wear a US10 or EU41. So be careful. The daisy print is awesome!!! Love love with jeans and white shirt! They do make an outfit!!!

  • Oopsie Daisy!

As per usual, these run 1/2 large for my wide foot. If you have a narrow foot you may need to size down a whole size, I highly recommend chatting with a fluevologist if you haven't tried these on before. The Daisies are absolutely adorable and even though peach is not one of my go-to colors (note, the material is navy color not black), I would still wear these in a heart-beat.

  • Crazy for Daisies

As soon as I saw these I knew they had to be mine. I initially ordered a 6.5, but they were too big. Thanks to Martina in Boston, I was able to exchange them and had my size 6 cuties in less than a week! Great customer service and adorable shoes. What more could a girl want?

  • Spring in a box

The daisy Zaza is perfection! The print is adorable and the colour combination is genius! Wore them straight out the box today for 10 hours while on my feet teaching kindergarten! I am a 7 in most vogs but sized down to a 6.5 after reading what the fit expert had to say! Order up some

Spring for your feet - you won’t be sorry!

  • I have the embroidered red version of these darlings. So very unique, I get comments everywhere I go. While walking across a parking lot, a woman rolled her window down and literally yelled "I FREAKING LOVE YOUR SHOES"! They are so fun and like all Minis they wear like a dream. Incredibly comfortable all day and they accommodate my wide feet with generous toe room.

True to size, great for wide feet. I need more colours please!

  • Zaza for life! (Well... Fluevog anyway!)

I own a number of different pairs in the mini family.

And my very first pair of minis are the LE from 2018.

So I started collecting them. I now have 2 Zaza, 1 SugarSnaps and a pair of BabyCakes.

I can’t say enough of this family, except to say how absolutely amazing they are!

Now go get a pair... you’ll thank me later. I promise!

  • Love love love ♥♥♥

These IFD platinum gold Zaza minis are so pretty! I range typically from a 10 to a 10 1/2 in Vogs because of my super long toes :). My normal non Vog size is 9-9 1/2. I ordered these in 9 1/2 based on reviews and they fit perfectly. They are super comfortable too.

Can't wait to wear them out and about!

  • Platinum ZAZA, 50 ANNIVERSARY

I was one of the lucky ones, size 9, I would've been better with 8 1/2.

They were the last pair, so yes a were bit big, another insole will do the trick.

I love the gorgeous embossing, I can hardly wait to get dressed up and wear these gorgeous babies.

    Happy 50 th Fluevog

  • Love these!

This is my second pair of Zazas and I couldn’t be happier! They are absolutely adorable in this new colorway and they fit great. I wear an EU. 38 and generally take a size eight in most shoes (especially boots) but I have many, many pairs of Minis and they’re all US 7.5 except the Zazas which are size 7. I bought my first pair when I was extremely underweight due to illness and they didn’t stay on my feet without using pads at the ball of my foot and around the top of the heel. The top strap is more decorative than functional in that you cannot tighten it. I considered having a local shoemaker put a wide elastic strap in that would hold the shoe on better but I never got around to it. After I regained the weight I found that they fit much better, but the d’orsay heel still slipped a little. I still wear just the ball of foot inserts with that pair and they’re fine. This pair is different. They seem to have more padding in the insole and there’s no movement in the heel at all. If I had gone with my usual 7.5 I think I would’ve had the same problem that prevented me from wearing the first black and cream pair very much. The toe box is short but roomy, like all Minis, which is perfect for me as my toes are kind of short and straight across. If you have longer toes or a second toe that’s longer than the first, then I would suggest maybe getting your regular size with the understanding that you may need to add some sort of insert. Anyway, these are great shoes and I’m so happy I was finally able to get another pair in such a great pattern/color combination. I highly recommend that you grab these before they’re gone!

I added these to my collection at the end of February and absolutely love them! They are so comfortable and beautiful in every way. I went down a full size in these and they fit like a glove. Thanks John and Samantha - an amazing and comfortable shoe!!

  • Heavenly!

Kaycie at the Ottawa store kept mum when I asked if she had seen the IFD shoes (pre-release), all she said was “ You were the first person I thought of when I saw them”. Hot dang, she was right. They are perfect in every way. They fit like a dream. So glad I scored a pair before they sold out.

  • Extremely disappointed

How many of you are in the same situation? I ordered these this morning online. Paid for, got order confirmation. Then because I didn’t receive a phone call or email today as is typical for online orders, I called to check status of order. The shoes are sold out. They sold my pair I bought at 3am when there were three pair remaining according to online info. I was told my order wouldn’t even be processed maybe until tomorrow.

This practice is terrible customer service and borderline or even actual fraud.

    Limited Edition Zaza

    John Fluevog Shoes

Hi Jessica! Due to high demand, the Limited Edition Zazas sold much quicker than we anticipated. The good news is that we will be receiving more pairs and customers like you will take first priority. The store processing your order will contact with you to give you updates on the shipment.

  • Odd fit- but nothing a shoemaker can't fix

When I ordered these, the store called to let me know they weren't the typical fit. I usually wear a 6.5 in Fluevog, but they didn't have that size in stock. So I went with a 7. They are shorter than my 6.5 shoes, but much wider. And the strap was far too long. It's a stretchy strap, not one with buckles. So I took it to a shoemaker. He fixed them for under $35 by cutting the strap and shortening it, then sewing it back together. Great fit now!

  • SO CONFUSED!

I absolutely love these shoes and since I don't have a Fluevog store, I buy on line and ALWAYS follow the advice of the fit expert and they never fail me until now. Something is not quite right with this shoe and my foot. And seriously, I never have issues. I standardly wear in the non-fluevog world a size 10. So I sized down to a 9.5. Too small. I loved them so I paid shipping to return them and bought size 10. Still too small. CRAZY. I guess I am keeping them because I don't want to pay for shipping yet again. But I never have this trouble. So be careful with this one.

  • LOVE

Zazing for the Zaza! Even cuter in person and fits like a soft, fashionable, super cute glove. I have a wide foot and these fit perfectly. I wear a 9.5 in the Caravaggio and a 10 in the Queen Transcendent Elizabeth (and that was still a bit snug but worth it!) and these fit PERFECTLY in a 9.5 thanks to Monkia's amazing help at the Haight St. store. I want to sleep in these shoes. Get them. Wear them. Love them. Legally adopt them.

  • Update

I bought these a couple years ago and reviewed them here saying they fit wide but added an insole to take up space. The insole kinda helped but I still found they were sloppy on my feet. Acting on the advice of the fantastic staff at Calgary Fluevog I sent them to the cobbler to have the strap shortened. One week later and 1/2 an inch lost from the strap they fit me like a glove! I live in them now. love!

  • Most beautiful shoes I own

I love red, red shoes, and funky footwear, but I have a medical condition that swells one foot, so it's very hard to find shoes that fit. The Zazas in red/pink are great - I'm usually a 7 wide and the 7s are perfect. The shoes look fabulous while the paler colour pink on top blends into my legs - meaning people are less likely to notice my swollen ankle. The grippy sole means I walk with confidence in high heels no matter the terrain. I have received such compliments on these shoes - very pleased and so happy to recommend fluevogs to others.

  • Tanya at the Calgary store is completely amazing. She has helped size over the phone and when I visited the Calgary store she remembered our conversations and I ended up buying two pairs! Zaza are amazing in the purple orange and fit wonderfully.. I went regular size as I have wide flat feet! I will be back for more shoes!

  • Can I have these in every colorway please?

These are the best minis I own! So comfortable, and the greatest colors. I have these in the brown and lime combo, but would love them in any and all combo. I can wear these all day and my feet don't hate me.

  • My first pair of very unique Zazas!!!!! As I do not like green color I was bit bumped when green & purple combination was released. Then I found out that our favorite distributor/seller of Fluevog in Europe (Poland) Raspberry Heels (www.raspberryheels.com) had the colors inverted (how cool is that!!!) and I happened to love purple. As usually, advice and the assistance of EU seller was excellent. As most of the online buyers I get information about sizing from other reviewers so here it is. I am EU 36.5 and I use CBC Radios in 6.5 and the Hopes and Prepares in size 7 (typically with cotton sock). I have medium wide foot with higher instep. I got Zazas in size 6 and they are just perfect. I am not comfortable on heels but these shoes are so well constructed and I can easily wear them all day. Plus they are so lovely.

  • Adorable and Sassy!

Once again, thank you Pete out of Boston for advising me to go 1/2 size down. He arranged for the last red/pink pair in my size to ship from the new store in Denver. I just received them today and they fit perfectly. I'm an 8 in vogs, so i got a 7 1/2. They are utterly adorable, comfortable, and easy to walk in. I'm wearing them tomorrow to work!

  • I'm still in love

OK - so I bought the Munsters first, really wanted these as well, but waited patiently for my first purchase to arrive so I knew whether I picked the correct size - which I did by following your fit suggestions and also by reading the reviews - which is why I'm leaving this one. I went down half a size as suggested for the purple/green Mini Zazas and they fit beautifully. Again I enjoyed the witty emails advising of their arrival - which I have to say was way earlier than I expected living in a remote location. They are simply stunning, as are the Munsters - I feel like an art gallery every time I put them on - they really are just works of art for your feet. The only problem is every time I go online I see more that I fall in love with - I think I've become a Flueholic. Thanks to all the wonderful sales people for both of my purchases x

  • ATTENTION FELLOW FLUEVOGERS!

I absolutely love this style and have the green/purple, but I REALLY want a pair of the purple/orange in size 10.5 or 11 (I'll take either)!! I'm a pretty recent Fluevoger and by the time I discovered these shoes, my size was sold out in the purple/orange and of course they are discontinued. If anyone is willing to part with their shoes in that size and color, I'll buy you a new pair in whatever styele/color you want! Email me if you have a pair, Joannagarries@gmail.com.

  • Shoes that make you giggle. . .

. . . when they're pulled out of the box must be bought immediately. I've bought a couple of pair online/tweaking fit by phone with FAB customer service, and I was excited to visit my first shop (Chicago). I have kinda big funny feet, the left slightly bigger than the right because of the start of a bunyon, blablahblah. It sucks to get old.

Anyway, I tried on this, tried on that, no luck with this size in this or that size in that. Finally I said, "How about anything in red." She brought these out, unboxed them, and I laughed out loud. They are ThE BeSt! Very comfortable. My other shoes (Operetta Bartoli and Bellevue Dora Dufran) are both 11.5. Zaza is a very comfortable, beautifully fitted 11. Yum-ee. Of course compliments abound when I wear them. One girl in a ladies' room line said, "I'm reeeeeally enjoying your shoes right now."

Anyway, sometimes I just go in the bedroom and put them on and look at my feet in them. I aaadoooore these lovelies. The purple and green are really calling my name.

I initially purchased the black and cream version. True to size and oh so comfy I paraded around the house sporting them in my p j's. my husband who rarely notices my shoes said they were so cute I needed the green and purple as well. They arrived last night and the colors are true and will be perfect for spring.

  • My giant feet are so happy

I have a love/hate relationship with Fluevog shoes and my size 12 feet. I've bought three pairs now, and the Mini Zaza is the only style that truly fits my long, wide feet (with long second toe) perfectly. I'm a little worried about the wearability of these shoes because of the colour combination (my kingdom for the black/bone pair in a size 12), but they fit so well and feel so good, I may just have to start building outfits around these shoes.

Many many thanks to Preeta at the Granville store in Vancouver who understood the plight of a big-footed gal who craves style in a town full of tiny-tootsied women. :-D

I have only had these shoes for a month or so but they are so amazing. They are so comfortable and pretty and unusual. • Love Love Love Love

It's Fluevog day and I took the day off work to go buy these babies in Red/Pink. I have been coveting them for about a year but last time I was buying for my wedding and got the Listen Up O'Hara; this time was all about the Mini Zaza. I wear a 9 in most shoes other than Fluevog, my other 2 pair of Minis I needed to get in a size 10 but the Zazas fit bigger, I went down to a size 9 and still needed an insole to take up some heel slipping, If you have wide feet these babies would fit you well without an insole.

  • Like wearing Brad Pitt on your feet!

I got my red/pink Mini Zazas last mothers day...they are so comfortable that I can wear them all day while coordinating conferences - up and down stairs, in and out, with a suit for daytime, with my Gala Dinner dresses, and also to wear out when we go for post event drinks.

I had read reviews about people stopping you in the street but the attention I receive wearing these shoes is CRAZY.

I was in London, UK recently coordinating an International conference, and one of my Nigerian delegates approached me. This man is very sweet but quite reserved and shows little emotion - well - he LOVED my ZaZas and was thrilled to find out he could get men's shoes too.

Just today I was whistled at when some construction workers saw my shoes getting out of the car (not something that normally happens), had a 7 minute Flu Vog conversation with one of the leaders at my daughter's theatre camp, and since then have had two other women tell me "nice shoes".

You begin to understand what it must be like to have the paparazzi after you all the time!

  • I have the red and pink and they certainly are attention grabbing. On advice I bought a 1/2 size down. Very glad I did. However, my foot is narrow and skinny (although long) and the spats bridge sits a couple of centimeters above my foot. A big annoyance to begin with and I seriously considered returning them. But then, they are too freakin cute. Instead, I thought about heading to a cobbler to get the strap shortened - no real easy way to do that and just the thought of taking a scalpel to these babies ..... Needless to say I learned to live with it and have gone from wearing them only with jeans / pant to feeling happy in a skirt. The loose spats bridge? Just part of the charm!

  • I held these today.

I held a pair of Fluevogs today, for the first time.

    They were these Zaza beauties.

The feeling was a cross between holding soft butter, absolute perfection, with a touch of sexy and a dash of daring, combined with pure comfort and giddy playfulness with a pinch of shear bad ass.

We parted ways. I shed a tear. Feeling incomplete.

I have a feeling one day a pair of Zaza's will come home with me, just not today.

  • Prettiest Vogs But Also Uncomfortable

I believe my purple/orange Zazas are the 2nd Vogs I ever bought. They are amazingly gorgeous, and I get stopped on the street everywhere I go by people wanting to tell me they love the shoes! HOWEVER, these are not comfortable to walk in for long periods of time. They run a tad big and I bought 11 when I should've bought 10.5. My toes rub in the toe box no matter what type of socks I wear with them. There's just something about this style that hurts my feet. So just be aware when you're buying this shoe. They seem best for wider feet. NOT that these problems will stop me from buying another pair in the future because they are THE COOLEST looking Fluevogs out there (in my humble opinion).

  • Amazing

Fabulous! Incredible! WONDERFUL! I saw these shoes and I had to have them. They are amazing. So comfortable, and so attention-grabbing. I am the envy of all my shoe loving friends!!!! I ordered my usual size (6.5) and they are perfect. I need a slightly wider toe box, and these fit as if they are specially made for me. They make my foot look tiny, tiny, and because I'm only 5'1" I love the height! I love these shoes! :-D

  • I bought these in Red/Pink at the store in Calgary. They aren't the pair I went in to try but they're the ones I couldn't resist. They took a few days to break in and are for the most part comfortable. However I do find them uncomfortable to stand for long periods of time in.

My only complaint is that within a few days the leather lining inside started to peel back and bunch in the heel and it jabs into my heels. It won't smooth out (the leather has shrunk I think)and I'm unsure if I should just cut it off or crazy glue it down or...something.

All in all...they're very pretty and I'm glad I spent the money.

  • The happiest shoes I've ever bought

Taking these shoes out of the box was like opening a complex birthday present - the shoulder bag on top, cloth shoe bag underneath, stickers, candy, and then the fiery explosion of awesome shoeness at the bottom. The size suggested by the reviews was perfect (half size smaller than usual), and I barely made myself take them off to go to bed. Compliments already. I'll definitely be getting more in the future from Fluevog!

  • The FLUEVOGS

These are quintessential Fluevogs. I started buying Fluevogs oh in 1997 with my first pair of black leather platforms, that I still own and wear on occasion. These red beautiful heels are just as beautiful but more. When you think Fluevog you think eccentric and colorful. These are them. So comfy you almost forget your wearing heels, but beware EVERYONE will notice you in these!!!!! P-)

  • They run big! Big!

I luvz my Zazas - but am amazed by the comments that they run true to size ... I couldn't get an 8 in the color I wanted so got the 8 and a half - they are massive! I have sheepswool liners in them and TWO heel grips on top of each other, and they still slide. I can wear 8 and a half in some other fluevogs, so I recommend going down at least a half size if you're ordering them online. That said, I love them so much I am prepared to wear them when they make my feet look huge! And they are unbelievably stable and comfortable - non-heel wearers, you'll be fine in these!

  • First Minis and won't be my last

After waiting impatiently for my pink and red Zaza's to arrive, they're finally arrived in the mail. These shoes are so beautiful. The detail in the little buttons and stitching is incredible. The pink band across the shoe is in really soft leather, so super comfy on your feet. Most of my existing Vogs are Operettas and this is my first leap into a different shoe family. I am really quite hard on shoes and need a firm heel under my feet. The heel on these is sturdy and looks pretty. I usually take a 10, but had to jump down to 9.5 and they fit perfectly. These are my first Vogs purchased online, so thanks to Corey in the Gastown store for helping with the sizing. I see many more Minis in my future.

Oh my gosh, I finally got hold of my red and pink Zaza's last week and wore them to a work function. Talk about causing a sensation, 12 people stopped me and commented on them, people pointed them out to other poeple, people stopped and pointed and stared, jaws dropped! Ladies and gentleman the Fluevog has arrived in New Zealand and I was one of the first!

Did I mention that they are totally comfortable to wear all day!

  • comfy but seams rub sores

I love these shoes-pre-shopped them and bought just the right size (true to size for my wide 6.5 feet). However, after only a hour they rubbed sores on my feet from the seams on the inside sides of the shoes. I guess in the winter I can wear socks with them or use moleskin. I was also expecting they would be easier to walk in considering the reputation, reviews and description, but they are heels. Still love 'em, don't regret buying them!

  • So very awesome

These are my favorite Fluevogs! My feet are basically big beefy rectangles with toes and, after a brief breaking-in period, are extremely comfortable. I have the purple and orangey ones.

  • Makes wide feet happy!

If you have wide feet, these are the shoes for you. I love them so much, I bought them in two different color combos. They work with skirts or with pants.

The thick heel makes walking very stable and yet they are not granny shoes. You will get noticed.

THank you, John and the gal who designed these!

  • First Fluevogs and I'm in love!

These are my first Fluevogs. I went to the newly opened Calgary store and the very helpful Phil D (I think was an import from the Toronto store) recommended them in the lime and chocolate. They are like wearing clouds. Seriously comfortable shoes. And, hearts to Phil D! He was fabulous. He new just what size my feet were nad was bang on the first guess. We had a lovely discussion about Newfoundland and Halifax (places I call home) and it was one of the BEST shoe shopping experiences I have had. Thank you Phil D and thank you, Fluevog. The first pair of many, I am sure!

  • I'm in love

I'm in love with my new shoes, I got the Zaza in black and beige and they are so comfortable I wore them out of the store. And a big thank you to Brie at the LA store for helping me pick out my first pair of Fluevogs, they definitely won't be my last. :-D

  • Zazaza zoom!

I got the red/pink pair. I have wide feet and frequent problems, but these shoes are a dream, they are so comfortable. They fit in my true size of 8.5, and staff at the NYC store were so kind to call and discuss it with me. Bravo on customer service. The UPS man who delivered them was pretty cute too. I guess that has nothing to do with Fluevog...but it was an all around great experience. :-D

  • Sadly, not for super-narrow feet.

I love this style SO MUCH but after going down an entire size and still feeling my foot slide a bit when I walk (enough to cause problems after hours of wear) I finally had to admit that this style doesn't work for my very narrow feet. I need a strap that can tighten and hold my foot in, sadly!

I finally had to replace my beloved Zazas with Pearl Harts, which I also love. But I still miss the Zazas. :(

  • Heart Palpitations

First and foremost....a big shoutout to Phil at the Toronto store for his help and his honesty and I can't forget Jaiko from the Vancouver store where these lovely beauties, the brown and green Zazas, came from.

Personally, for me, the Zazas fit true to size (I am a size 10).

I tried the 9.5 on as suggested by Phil and found that my toes were right up against the toe box.

I was sleeping yesterday (I'm a shift worker) when the doorbell rang midday. I raced downstairs, and low and behold, the mailman stood there with a brightly wrapped turquoise box. I knew they were my Zazas. I signed a signature that I'm sure looked nothing like mine and grabbed the box out of his hands. I ran to the kitchen, ripped open the beautiful wrapping and squealed and put on my lovelies. I pranced infront of the mirror admiring their beauty and comfort and relunctantly made my way back to bed to prepare for my second night shift. I slept with them. ,->

  • Singular Shoes

These red-and-pink lovelies just arrived in the post. They are like no other shoes I own. Bold, does not begin to describe them. These shoes are not for the meek. The spats, the bud-like buttons, the hourglass heel and the frilly rubber sole add up to something entirely unique. If punk rockers were to throw a 1920s mobster-themed garden party this would be the footwear of choice.

After coveting these shoes for a very long time I finally ordered the red ones (thanks to the Vancouver stores!). They arrived and I loved them so much I ordered the black ones as well!!!! I have received many compliments and the red look great with my straight leg jeans! Love 'em.

  • Worth every penny

I work in a hotel and I am on my feet all day long. I have had my Mini Zaza's for a couple of years now. They are still as comfortable today as they were the first time I wore them. Who would of thought a shoe with a heel could be the best shoe I ever owned.

  • GOOOOOOOOOOSH, LOVE AT FIRST WEAR!

I thought about the purple and orange Zazas for a few days after I had purchased and returned the Hope Desire Boots in red and orange. The Desire boot just didn't fit me. I was devastated because they are sooooo sexy. BUT happiness abounds once again. Thanks to the wonderful Voggers in the L.A. and S.F. stores, a pair of Zazas in my size were located in the new Union Square store. I received them yesterday. Knowing I wanted to wear them with light socks and jeans, I grabbed both gray and orange socks--one for each foot. I tried on my Zazas and walked around the house. WOW! How great they felt on my feet. I chose the gray socks because they were the perfect sock weight, threw on an orange jacket, popped a little cuff on my jeans, and headed out on a date to see a 3D film with my beautiful Other person who is the one who gifted me with them. I felt HOT and had a blast munching a mountain of popcorn and hooting it up since we were the only two in the entire cinema. We came home and SHHHHH, don't you tell anyone what happened next. ZOWIE ZAZA!!!!!! Needless, to say my partner and I are smiling really big today. Think I'll bathe my Yorkie and vacuum the house in my new purple and orange Zazas today. Then, I'll prance around in the red light of my darkroom work-work-working to some great music. Here's to making photographs and to John Fluevogs wonderful shoes! Thank you!

  • The brown & green is fabulous, my favourite shoes ever. They are roomier and wider than my Fluevogs in the same size. I can't believe how comfortable they are, given that they have 3" heels. And I'm not going to lie, the way they garner compliments every single time I wear them is a nice bonus.

  • PS -- UPDATE!

Anyone paying attention to the marvelous specifics of the Zaza design will wonder why in the world I would say the latest red-plum colour with lilac trim has "edible lilac buttons" -- because of course the buttons are always the same colour as the main body of the shoe! SO, before I give anyone fits over such a glaring error, please let me correct that to: "edible red-plum buttons" -- of course. And oooh la la, those red-plum buttons on the lilac straps -- you should see the heads turn in the street, and hear the compliments! Have Moici! @>-

  • BEYOND AWESOME

These Zazas are SO unlike any other shoe I've ever seen (& very likely, any other shoe on the planet)), that over a short span of time I had to have all three colours available at that point.: & I'm someone who NEVER-EVER wears heels -- not in over 20 years! (Yes: that's how extraordinarily comfortable they are, even for someone like me w/a very bad back & chronic sciatica.) Recently, however, I stumbled across them in the Beyond-Awesome NEW colour combination of the most exquisite red -- almost a lit-from-within red plum shade -- with lilac trim & strap. IMO, these are the most beautiful yet (the B&W being my next-favorite colour-combo in terms of multi-wearability, if that's a word). As Miz Vreeland always said, "dark red or burgundy shoes: because those 2 go with EVERYTHING" -- & they do, they certainly do. And when they're Fluevog red-plum Zazas, with those edible buttons in lilac -- well! They go with MORE than everything! Thanks, John: & please keep those new colours coming. Merry Christmas, dear Fluevogers, one & all!

  • So so so so happy!

Where have you been all my life? I was walking around San Francisco when I saw a store front that said "No. YOU'RE Weird" and I had to go in. I was greeted with racks and racks of shoes that were both wearable and AMAZING. I have square feet, and my already tired and blistered square feet sighed with relief when I put these on. There was no debate about it. As the sales person said "I liberated them" in no time flat. I want more, and I will have more! ]:o)

  • My first wonderful pair

I bought the black and beige version for my first pair of Vogs, and, oh dear, a new obsession has begun. I usually wear 6.5-7, and these run large, so for me, size 6 is best. I ordered over the phone from the Los Angeles store, and Anthony was more than helpful in finding me the right size.

I get compliments on these every time I wear them--my husband even notices that everyone stares at my shoes when I go out in them. I feel tall and fabulous while wearing these because, well, I am! ,->

Thanks for making these wonderfully comfortable shoes--who knew you could be comfortable and fabulous at the same time??

  • My favourite Vogs

I have been wearing Fluevogs since the late 80s and these are my current faves. I now have them in purple and orange and the brown and green, still thinking of adding the black and beige. I wear a half size smaller in these than most of my other Vogs. They also stretch easily if you wear them a lot so you may even find you go down a full size in these, they're very room with a wide toe-box and loose strap. I wore my new pair yesterday for more than 12 hours for the first time, on my very wide feet, and they were so comfortable, i didn't take them off right away when I got home late. I walked through a crowded underground pass with people spilling from work at about 5 and I noticed every woman staring at my shoes as I walked by. Teen girls through to women much older than I am commented on how fabulous these shoes were. I almost couldn't walk from A to B yesterday without getting noticed and compliments and questions about where to get. I really did feel Great! Thanks Fluevog, again.

  • Now this is one slick shoe! I own it in the black & cream...and adore the style. These shoes can take the most dull clothes & make you look like you've got class :-D My first time out in them, I worked in a friend's gallery for about 8 hours. They did make the balls of my feet hurt, but I haven't given up on them yet...

I've been part of the Fluevog family since 1988 or 89. It is my tradition to buy myself a pair for my birthday every year. One year my husband bought them and he said

"these shoes or a bike?" of course I said "the shoes!!!" ha-ha-ha. I lived in Seattle for 12 years and one time I left the store with 4 pair. Awesome sale! I shop in Vancouver & L.A. too. Love you John. xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

  • First Pair

This was my first purchase of Fluevogs. I have never been able to wear heels without falling. I slipped into these beautiful shoes and said wow :-O ! I'm a 8 1/2, I went down 1/2 to a size 8 and they fit like a glove. My expectations were far exceeded and I am so happy I took others' comments to heart or I might not have purchased these! I never buy anything without trying it on or feeling the fabric, I am glad I took a chance. Can't wait to buy another pair, Thank you!! :-D

  • Totally in LOVE!

Thanks to my boyfriend who enables my Fluevog addiction, I bought these in green/brown and they are my 3rd pair of Fluevogs! I love them! Not only are they just as comfortable as all my other Fluevogs, but they are so fun and funky! I wore them out for the first time to a Farmer's Market and within 45 minutes, 6 complete strangers had come up and told me how much they liked my shoes! I also ran into a few friends who knew I'd been looking forward to them and they were all impressed as well!

  • Looking for advice

I absolutely love my purple and orange Zazas, and want to wear then every second of every day. I've never owned such amazing shoes.

However, after a month of fairly frequent wear, they are still rubbing the skin raw where the outside lip hits, right about where the spat begins. Is this a quirk of my foot, or did anyone else have this probem, and if so, are there any solutions?

  • Amazing!

I got to go to Chicago for work and I knew I had to hit the Fluevog store while I was there. I've been wanting a pair for a while now but was worried about ordering them. So, this was perfect in my mind, work and shoes!

I went with the thought of getting one fun pair and one more sedate pair. I did, and these are my fun pair. They fit perfectly and the only color in my size, purple and orange. How could I say no???

Very comfy, very stable even with a 3 inch heel. Fit true to size, no need to go up a half size even with the heel height and my wider feet. I'm in love!

  • Soooo Cute!

I recently received the Zazas in black and beige and I adore them. The spat style reminds me of something out of a Fitzgerald novel and they are as great at a garden party with a flowing dress or flirty skirt as they are with a more conservative suit and button down shirt. My basic wardrobe comprises jeans and mini-skirts with t-shirts and cardigans in black or grey, plus a few dresses and a little white or pink thrown in for variety. Very boring, I know, but my Zazas have the power to transform the most basic pieces of clothing into an "outfit" worthy of attention and jealous stares. This is my second pair of Minis and the wonderful Leah at the Seattle store helped me pick the right size. I wear a US 7.5-8 or a European 38. I have a pair of Qtees in size US 7.5 and they fit like a dream. She suggested that I go down half a size in the Zazas and the US 7 is perfect. The strap across the top of the foot is not as tight as I would like, but I suppose if were tighter it would be harder to slip the shoes on. I did notice a little bit of slip in the right heel when I walked so I purchased a heel cushion at the drug store and problem solved. Our first outing together was a day long shopping expedition and they were fantastic. I gave ordering information to three sales assistants in a very snooty department store - the kind that sells $2,700 shoes by designers much less interesting than John Fluevog. I've worked retail and have spent all day on my feet in my Minis and I cannot overemphasize how comfortable they are even with a 3" heel. Of course they are not your favourite sneakers - they're MUCH sexier than that - but the way the insole and platform heel are designed keeps your foot in a more natural position than other high heels. The athletic-style rubber sole provides excellent cushioning and traction while the wider base makes them very stable for walking or even running if you have to. I love these shoes and can hardly wait for my next pair - Gorgeous!

  • LOVE these shoes

I found this store in NY while walking around on a long weekend trip. I almost walked by but had to turn around and try on some shoes. I am so happy I did. I wear a very large size and this store has shoes that are so comfy and cute in my size. I could wear these shoes all day long without any problem and every time i wear them people tell me how cute they are. • Delicious!

I bought the black/cream Zazas recently and OMG what an ADORABLE shoe!! I take an 8 in most Fluevogs and the Gastown store staff advised to SD to 7.5, which fit like a dream. They are really flattering on the foot and don't look or feel like a high heel at all they are so amazingly comfortable. The spats are so cute, especially with contrasting legwear.

I had another pair of Vogs picked out for my next purchase but I may possibly have to buy a second pair of Zazas in one of the other color combos. Love, love, LOVE this shoe! If you're on the fence, buy them, try them, don't deny them. ,-)

  • I love my Mini Zazas. I got the black and cream shoe, and I wish I could get one of the other color combos too! I debated buying these for almost a month, and then decided that it really would be the best use of my tax return...

These run a wee bit smaller than some of the other Minis - I tried on a few other Mini shoes in 9 that fit, but these ones fit 8.5, and I can still wear a thin sock comfortably.

Many thanks to the Boston store for letting me try on lots of different styles when I first went to visit. Everyone was super friendly, and they were helpful with all my questions. Fluevogs rock, and I wish I could afford to have all my shoes be vogs.

  • Yay, 12s!

Although there isn't a 12 available on the website, the fantastic people in the NY store found me a pair, and I am in love. I am a solid size 12 and often can't wear Fluevog 12s (which, let's face it, are often more like 11.5s), but these seem to run big, because they're actually comfy out of the box with no stretching needed.

  • Perfection in a shoe!

When I first saw the purple Zaza's on the website, I told a friend that I would happily trade every possession I have for a pair these shoes.

So - a couple months later, after making the epic decision to return to work after being a stay at home Mama, the very first thing I did after accepting a job was hit up the Fluevog website and make these shoes MINE! Yeah, I probably took the job just to have a valid reason to have these shoes - but I'm so glad I did, as these shoes are absolutely DELICIOUS! They feel fabulous, look amazing and I wish there was more things in the world that bring me as much happiness as these shoes do! (Ok a bit much, but they're awesome!)

My feet run a bit wide, but I wear a size 10, and in these as well, with a perfect fit. If you're thinking of these shoes - my advice... BUY THE SHOES!!

I just bought a pair of those shoes and I can't remember being that proud of a purchase I've made! This is my first pair of fluevog, but I am now addict I can tell you! They make me a fantastik foot, they really are gorgeous!!! And sooooooo comfortable!!! I have a large and square foot, hard to find shoes that fit, but these are just perfect and amazing! I can't wear high heels usually, and it makes me sad cause I think they're very sexy, but This heel is just perfect for me!! Stability, comfort and safety and what about the look!!! I am in love! • I've been lusting over these ever since the purple was released. Who could resist purple and orange shoes?! I tried for a long time.. but every time I visited the site to order other fluevogs, I'd lust after these. So I finally took the plunge and ordered them. They just came today and I'm already wearing these babies at the office. They're sized a tad large, so I went a half size down to a 9. The colour's a tad more muted than on the site, they're not overwhelming at all in person, though the orange is still nice and bright. The leather is soft and stretchy, I can already feel it accommodating my foot, and the heel is as comfortable as my other minis! Easy to walk on, and a pleasure to wear. These are fabulous!

These may very well be my favorite shoes ever! They are so cute and comfortable. I love that I don't have to sacrifice comfort for amazing fashion! The nice wide solid heal lends itself to maximum support of my ankles and calves. I walked in them for hours and still felt wonderful. I adore buttons on shoes, and I get so many comments. The fabulous salesman, Aaron, worked his magic & made them fit to a tee, as they were a half size too small, but the only ones left & I just HAD to have them (thanks so much, shoe magician!) I put these shoes on layaway (can I tell you how much me and my credit card appreciate layaway John!!!)...and I JUST picked them up the other day. I received 3 compliments within 2 blocks of me walking to transit. Another 4 compliments walking to my office. I was positively beaming. Besides the style, the comfort is superb. They look great with everything I own. I wore them out with jeans for dinner the other night and my husband said "cute shoes honey" until I raised my pantleg to which he whistled "Oooohhh.. Fluevog's, sexy!" LOL! I'm a happy camper! Thanks all you lovely Fluevog-style makers. How I appreciate having not one but TWO of your stores in Vancouver to drool over! I told so many people about you these past few years literally THOUSANDS came to see your work over the past few weeks. • Beautiful fit, great style

Gorgeous fit, lovely quality. This is my fourth pair of Vogs and counting. The band over the top of the foot slips on gently and easily. Fits true to size, though the arch in this style is a bit low. This is my first in the mini family and it won't be my last. I love all the extra height without the usual discomfort of heels, the rubber soles, and the smooth glove-like fit.

  • How should it fit????

I love these shoes but how are they supposed to fit? Is the cream band across the foot supposed to fit snug against the foot or loose? With the shoes I ordered, the band fits loose... seems like it should fit tighter. Don't know if they are flawed and should send back for another pair. Can someone help?

    Shawn from Fluevog Los Angeles

The strap on the Zaza fits differently to each person's feet. On some people it ends up being a bit tighter fitting, but on average it is a bit looser and has a some space between it and one's foot. Odds are they are fitting just how they should and a different pair would have the same amount of looseness on the strap. If you do wish to have a snugger strap a local cobbler might be able to cut and tighten the strap a bit. Hope all this helps, if you do have further questions feel free to contact of the of the Fluevog stores.

  • I can't take these shoes off!!!

I LOVE this shoe! These are the most comfortable 3" heels I have ever worn. I am a "girly-tomboy" so I'm usually in flip-flops or running shoes. I have been searching for a stylish and comfortable "real" shoe for work or going out with the gals, the Zaza is PERFECT with jeans or a skirt! My feet are a little bit wide at the toebox and these shoes are very comfortable. I wear a size 38 or 7 and ordered these in a 7, they fit awesome! I can't wait to buy my next pair of Fluevog Minis, maybe the Gorgeous. THANK YOU FOR MAKING SUCH A PERFECT SHOE!!!

  • Takes a while to get down the street...

Fiance bought me these shoes as a birthday present (after I spent several days drooling over them)@>-. Love, love, love these shoes.

They do run pretty true to size (at least for me) I usually wear an 8.5, but fiance got me a 9 (just in case). They are a little loose, but was able to take up the slack with an insert. If I buy another pair, I'll definitely get the 8.5. First day I wore these to work with a brown & green skirt...I was stopped 7 times (within 3 blocks) by people commenting on how wonderful they are and "where did I get them". :-D I was almost late getting back from lunch! But it made my day! Thanks JOHN! I get asked all the time if they are comfortable... and YES they are very, very comfortable!

After drooling over the shoes in the Haight Street window, I finally came in during business hours. Just one look is all it took. These shoes are little works of art and I too cannot believe that they come it at 3". I wore them out of the store and walked about 2.5 miles around the city that very day. I also wear them on my bike and when I walk my dog. I am a shoe nut and I will joyfully be adding more Fluevogs to my collection. Thanks a million John -- and the open source designer too! Oh yeah, the woman in the store who sold me my shoes was phenomenal and she really knew the variation in the sizes for all of the shoes I tried. :-D

  • 3" Heel? I don't believe you!

I walked into the Gastown store knowing that I was going to buy a pair of Minis, because I'd fallen in love with the look of the heel, but I just wasn't sure which ones. As soon as I tried these on, there was no question. The hardest part was settling on a colour. I finally decided to go with the brown and green. With long pants, these look like I'm wearing a conservative boot, but then when I sit down the green strap pokes out... surprise! Once again, John delivers a heel that feels like it's half its height. I have no trouble wearing these all day long, even walking all over the place. They do fit large, though. The 7.5's are a bit too big on my usually size 8 feet, but adding a heel pad helped, and wearing them with socks makes them fit perfectly. I am considering getting cushions to go under the balls of my feet so that I can wear these sockless. (Nothing to do with comfort - these are perfectly comfortable already.)

  • My gateway drug

These were my first foray into the Minis, and the minute I opened the box, I felt the urge to adopt the entire Mini family. Cute, comfy, exquisite details on the straps and edges, and solid quality.

  • I love these shoes

There's nothing better than shoes which make you smile... I saw these shoes on the website a while back, but thought that buying shoes on the internet was just too risky, especially going international as returning them to change the size would be prohibitive... But I kept coming back to look, and eventually decided to take the risk. I needn't have worried. Jaik in the Vancouver store was really helpful with working out the right size. They arrived yesterday. They fit perfectly and are far more comfortable than shoes this high have any right to be! I love them and I haven't stopped smiling since I got them!

  • Fab Style and Amazing Comfort

I teach at scrapbooking events all over the country, and I'm sometimes on my feet for 14 hours in a day - these shoes are my go-to for fabulous style (EVERYONE comments on them, writes down the name, etc) AND the wide toe-box and chunky heel make for superior comfort. They're my 5th pair of Fluevogs, and my favorite! The brown+green is AMAZING.

  • so sad

I started coveting Fluevogs ohhh about 15 years ago and finally ordered 2 pair. They just arrived and both are a hair too small. So almost fitting that I am afraid a half size up will be too big (I have freakishly long toes). I could just cry.... (:`(

  • My Favorite Pair of Shoes

I'm obsessed with my Zazas. They are the first pair of heels I have actually been able to walk in. In fact, I can run in them if I really wanted. They are so incredibly comfortable, it's amazing. I wish I had more occasions to wear them... My Zazas are also my first pair of Fluevogs, and I can't wait to buy another pair ^_^

  • Best Fluevogs So Far

My small but steadily growing collection of Fluevogs was recently joined by these Zazas in black and cream. These are possibly my favorite to date, closely edging out my Haights in terms of comfortable style. They provide out-of-the-box comfort, but are maddenly inconsistent in size. I take an 8.5 or 9.0 in all other Fluevogs; my new Zazas are size 8 and they fit better than any other Fluevogs I own. Really, with the cost of shipping and Fluevog's expensive, restrictive return policies it might be nice if you provided a little more information than a Fluevogologist's opinion of size, which can only be obtained after considerable effort and repeated phone calls. After all, they've got customers to serve in the stores. I'd really like to see insole measurements for each shoe size posted on the website.

  • Amazing!

I ordered these from Belgium, and after a month of waiting finally they were there, my ultra-fabulous shoes. After wearing them for a couple months now, I can't say enough good things about them. I've never been very good in heels, but these give me no trouble at all. I can jump or run in them, and walk several miles no problem. LOVE them! :-)

  • Ever Love

These run large, (my other Vogs are 7.5 and 8'), but I wear these in a 6 1/2. Very cozy and secure feeling. The chunky rubber sole gives me a little extra height. The wide strap top takes a simple shoe to a new level of class. I love it when I see people looking at my shoes when they talk to me, like they can't help it. I suppose that may mean my footwear is more charismatic than I am, but I like to think we are just perfect partners. @>-

  • When I saw these shoes, I knew they should be mine! Not only do they look hot, they are surprisingly comfortable--like wearing high-heeled slippers. They are great for work (wear them with a suit), going out (wear them with jeans or a skirt), and (if you're a huge shoe dork like me) wearing around the house so you can admire them all by your lonesome.

  • Got caught licking my Zazas...

I wore my new Zazas to work for the first time this week and my boss caught me licking one of them...just kidding, but seriously I did have one of them off and sitting on my desk right by my computer so that I could stare at the beautiful design. I told him it was for inspiration (I'm a graphci designer). I really did pretend to lick them when he came in....we have a lot of fun at work. John's shoes just make it more fun! I want this shoe in every color combination John comes up with. It is a show stopper. Literally every person I passed stopped my to ask about the shoes. I am in love....again. John, will you marry me? :)
