LOVE

I bought these shoes online after purchasing my first two pairs (in the Ottawa store..) I was a bit worried getting another 2 inch heel as I found my first pair, the Savasanas, although they were comfortable and fit perfectly, I could only wear them for a few hours. These are perfectly comfortable and wearing them is like wearing slippers. I am a senior and have not worn heels for a good many years... these will be my new go-to's... you can wear them with almost anything.

I love my Dankes. They go with everything and can be worn all day. I too wish that they come in other colours as I would purchase again without hesitation.

I need more pairs of these!

I think my Danke's are now 2 years old and I feel like I should buy a back up pair in case something happens to them! They go with EVERYTHING and they get as much notice as my more colourful Vog's. I keep hoping you will make a brown pair again. And was there a navy at one time too? Pretty please!

These boots are pure magic. They fit beautifully from the first wearing, and the pitch of them is such that you do not feel you’re wearing a heel at all. So well balanced, elegant, and buttery soft. Emily in the New Orleans store deserves huge kudos for helping me fit my very wide, high instep foot, guiding me toward the best shoe families for my feet. I hope these never get discontinued, they are an absolute classic. I’m a 10 in most shoes, an 11 in Fluevogs, and the 11 in these is perfect.

I love these boots so much!

It was love at first sight, once I saw them, I had to have them! They were my interview confidence shoes, and they look amazing! I wear a size 12.5 so the 12 is a little too short and I get blisters wearing them, and they're a little too wide, but they look amazing and if not for the length, would be comfortable to wear all day.

It would be so wonderful if you could make more shoes in larger sizes! I love your stuff, but have to choose between wearing shoes that fit that I don't like how they look and getting blisters and cramps from having my toes hitting the end of the shoe.

Beyond Snazzy! The most iconic little black boot IMHO that goes anywhere.

On my second pair and they are just as fab as the first (well worn because I could walk, run and skip in them with ease).

Initially a snug fit for my average width foot but within minutes the leather warms and embraces the foot like a glove. The heel shape and height is just right on so many levels.

Note to JF: please make this lil’ boot in some mad, cool colours. Hint: green, pink and a patent leather version would just be the end❤️

Wowsers Trousers - best boots ever!

I love the heels and the shape but was worried about them being too narrow, but they fit really well. I am always an 8 but in most Fluevogs I am 8.5, (so the 8.5 in these fits perfectly).

So comfy and soft, easy to get on and off, and I love them enough to actually write a review! I never do reviews.

In LOVE With These boots!!

I sat back and debated the merits of buying these lovelies...and after 6 months of fence sitting I finally bit the bullet and bought them. Am I ever glad I did. They are gorgeous and incredibly comfortable. For those of you that are ready to get out and about, you can wear them all day and not worry about crushed toes or tired feet. AND they're TSA-able, so you can walk through miles of airport (lookin' at you, Denver International!) without having to slip out of these beauties before you go about your merry way.

I will echo the sentiment that has been expressed by others--order a 1/2 size up if you can. You will fall in love with these boots friends!!!

I love these boots

These boots arrived on my door stop Monday morning and I have worn them every day since with skirts, pants, and dresses, and have received compliments from everyone . They are so comfortable. So comfy!

My go-to shoes

I bought these boots last year on Fluevog day and they are my favorite shoes. I wear them with formal dresses, with my interview suit, and with jeans. They are so comfortable. It's not easy for me to find beautiful shoes that fit right and that are stylish and comfortable at the same time. I did have to go up a 1/2 size so i was glad I tried them on at the store first. I loved them so much I bought a second pair at full price so I have a back up. They are so worth paying full price for!

perfect boot

I have had my Dankes for a few years and they have weathered me through good foot times and bad. Always in fashion, and simple but elegant. I can't wear spiky heels but these work well for dressy-professional and even for going out. I went up half a size from my street-shoe sizing.

Most perfect shoes ever

I just got back from a week in Texas visiting family and friends. For the first time ever, I brought only one pair of shoes: Wearever Dankes. They went with everything (mostly jeans) and I was able to romp with my grand-neice and grand-nephew and hose off the mud afterwards to go to a nice restaurant. Perfecto!

For the record, get a half size up from your street size and if you have to pay full price to get them new, I say they are worth it.

Love, love, love!

Absolutely my most favorite pair of shoes/boots in my closet. I was surprised by how comfortable Danke is. I’m a hairdresser and usually I need flats but the heel is perfect and very solid. I get compliments on them all the time, too. Even a cute little old lady at the grocery store today looked at my shoes and said, “Cooooool shoes!” ????????

Perfect for everything

Beautiful, comfortable, durable boots

I have owned my Danke boots for about 3 years, and they still look almost brand new. They are just dressy enough for work or dinner, but casual enough for jeans. Not flat, but with a funky heel and foot-shaped asymmetrical toe. The sole is rubber, with enough traction for any condition. Added bonus - last week I stepped in a 3-inch-deep puddle of frozen slush. I expected cold wet feet, but NO leaking happened and the boots looked like this never happened! Fluevog, how did you do this??

Bottom line, buy these boots!

Terribly Disappointed

From all the glowing reviews, I expected some really comfy boots. These are narrow, and not easy to put on.

I should have left well enough alone, and returned them. I was determined to get them on my feet. After 10 minutes they were on. My shoehorn bent, and the heel of the boot is bent too. So much for a return, I am stuck.

BEST BOOT you will ever own

This is the best boot you will ever own. It is the most comfortable boot that I have ever had on my feet and it goes with everything; so I have to make myself pick another shoe sometimes! I have literally worn my pair about 500 times and I stand on my feet all day. They are my go to boot when I travel and have to walk for miles and still look fabulous. I still recall when I first bought them and was skeptical about the price but they are worth every penny and then some. Another color variety would be amazing:)

Most Comfortable Booties You'll Ever Own

I swear i could live in these! The soft leather feels like slippers when they're on my feet. The funky heel makes them so they turn heads. They're easy to get on and off. What I can say? Happy to wear them with anything from skirts to pants. Might even get brave and try them with shorts this summer! They're expensive but I'm worth it :)

Best shoes ever!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for making a shoe that I can wear that is gorgeous and makes me feel amazing. I wore these for my two job interviews, and I got two offers.

I had given up on wearing womens shoes, since I wear a size 12 and nothing ever fits right. Except for Fluevog shoes! These shoes fit like they were made for my feet! They are exceptionally comfy with heels that are easy to walk in, not too high, and not slippery. The leather on the inside of these shoes is so soft and supple... no detail is overlooked here.

Best multi-taskers

This is my go-to shoe/boot for work travel, presentations, funky restaurants. They slip on & off, so they're great if you're going through airport security. They're comfortable enough to run in to get to the streetcar stop in time. They're just conservative enough to present to bank clients, and different enough that someone will ask you about them.

I've worn them so much I had to resole them, and they're still in regular rotation.

Best Shoes Ever!

This is my third pair of Fluevogs and by far my favorite. I love the looks of my others but the comfort and fit of these takes the Danke's to another level. The Boss Beauty Of Your BOOT!

Your boots are so comfortable, I can put them on in the morning with the assurance that I don't have to miss an event or carry some humungous handbag to put a pair of flats in.

Cool as

As an Australian RM Williams boot tragic, I'm hard to please when it comes to elastic-sided boots. These are really elegant and fit like a glove. I love the "round" elastic bits! I think people with wide feet might not find them wide enough. They're true to size for me, a bit roomy at the narrow toe. Now I want them in brown! They could have done with a front tab to match the back, as they're fairly tight to slip on.

Love them

The Toronto store didn't get these for some reason (??!!) so I had to order them sight unseen and untried.

I love them. They fit true to size and don't crowd my toes.

I get more mileage out of these boots...

I bought my Dankes about 3 years ago when the style was first introduced (mine are dark navy with smoke gray heels). I went into the SF store thinking I was getting a different pair of 'Vogs, but these won out over 15 other pairs that I tried on. I was NOT disappointed! I have worn these to dinners, concerts, meetings, traveling... they just keep on going! The heel height is *just right*, even for standing and walking for long periods of time. They look great with tights, socks, dresses, slacks, jeans... whatever. I just purchased the Wearever Tav sandals because I love the last and the heel shape / height so much that I wanted a pair to wear during warmer weather. LOVE THESE!! My favorite Fluevogs EVER in my 16 years of collecting and wearing 'Vogs!

Stylish and comfy - how can it be??

Can't believe how comfortable these boots are. I own many good-quality flat shoes that aren't as comfy as these. On my first wearing, I walked for about an hour and felt like I was walking on air. Great fit and great style. Compliments galore! They fit true to size and are slightly narrow, so order up a size if you have wide feet. For me and my very narrow foot, they are perfect. don't miss out on the Brown sale!

I have them in black and loved them so much I got them in Brown. It really is a great sale price. I love how they fit, and the black ones are really helpful when you need to "dress-up" for work in Cleveland winter. My only complaint is that they switched from the leather boot-pull to the fabric logo boot-pull. It kind of diminishes the dressy-potential of the boots a bit. I mean I get the logo pull on the more casual styles (branding and whatnot), but yeah, a little out of place on these IMO. Obviously though, I still bought two pairs. :-)

Wow...

Finding shoes for me is difficult... bad back, big bony arched feet... These shoes? Fantastic! My office has a polished cement floor (yeah yeah, really sleek, but really bad on my back...) and while my co-workers clackity-clack their way around the office, I get to glide through with these amazing soles... Amazing Grace

My dear husband gave me these boots last year for Christmas. These are the best shoes I've ever worn, bar none, and worth every penny. They're comfortable, walkable all day, go with everything I wear. I normally wear and 8.5 or 9, the 9's fit me perfectly. I love the soft leather lining. They make my sensitive and finicky feet very happy. Very well made. A couple of days ago, I inadvertantly subjected these boots to an extreme test. I was on my way downstairs to meet my husband for "playtime". It was dark, I was carrying too much (lube, pipe, towels, etc.) and I misjudged where the stairs started by half a foot length. When I realized I was going down, I had to choose whether to fall (very bad, lots of pain) or jump (maybe less bad, possibility of less pain). I made a spectacular leap down the six stairs, expecting I would break either my ankle or the heel of my treasured boots (a tragic choice, but better than my ankle). I give credit to these fantastic boots that I did neither, landing solidly on one foot without rolling my ankle at all, and the heel is still sturdy and undamaged. Danke, Danke. I am indeed giving thanks to be walking, and still have my most favorite boots of all time. (Until later today, perhaps ... my husband and I are going Christmas shopping. First stop - the Gastown store.)

Fabulousness personified.

I am in mad love with these boots.

The day I purchased them, I put them on immediately, and did about 5 hours of shopping, walking the pavement. No problem. The happiest feet on earth. And so uniquely stylish at the same time? It shouldn't even be legal to look that cool.

My brown Dankes arrived today from Chicago. Boy are they fast! I have had the black Dankes a couple years and they are my favorites. In my review of them I wrote that I wished they had other colors. Let me preface this by saying I can not wear heels. I've broken all my toes, ripped ligaments, you name it. Wide, cranky feet. These shoes are like heaven on my wide cranky feet. Aside from the well known far too tight ankle (which will ride up with wear) I haven't had this easy a time with "real" shoes since I was a kid. The heel doesn't annoy my non-bending toes, the width is superbly comfortable and well look at them.... gorgeous. I usually wear a 7 and got a 7.5. I'm deciding which will be the next member of the wearever clan to come home with me. ()-)

Love these boots!

current faves

These shoes are fantastic--so comfortable and they look great with everything. They run true to size. At first they feel a little snug, but they conform to your feet and you can wear them for hours even on the first outing. I stomped around in them in hurricane-like weather in Boston and they kept my feet dry and happy. By the way, I got to go into my first Fluevog store while in Boston. I walked one hour in a downpour without an umbrella to get there. The store workers were so kind and helpful. The styles I've been wanting looked even better in person.

Danke's are so comfortable!

Just got my Danke's from the UPS lady - and I love them! They are so comfortable. I have problem feet, and didn't know if they would work for me. I think that is why I am sooo excited! Great shoes, excellent quality. My feet measure 9 1/2" which is a size 38, a 7 1/2 or an 8. I ordered the size 8. I do have on lightweight wool socks, and the shoes felt great. Parfait!

Great Mod Boot
