John Fluevog x Jimi Hendrix Collection Returns With Iconic New Styles

John Fluevog is thrilled to announce an exciting expansion of the Fluevog x Jimi Hendrix collection in early 2023. After its debut in 2021 with The Jimi, The Foxey Lady, and a selection of rock ‘n’ roll-influenced accessories, the world’s first Jimi Hendrix footwear collaboration has returned as an online exclusive with two new pieces that pay tribute to the late music icon.

Drawing inspiration from the art, life, and music of the legendary musician, John and the Fluevog Design Team worked closely with the Hendrix family to reimagine two iconic Fluevog styles—The Pilgrim and The Derby Swirl—that would honour Jimi’s lyrics, legacy, and distinct fashion sense. The Jimi Hendrix Pilgrim is a buckled T-strap loafer showcasing Jimi’s lyrics, in his own handwriting, on purple burnout velvet while The Jimi Hendrix Derby Swirl is a classic derby boot rocking metallic gold embroidery on beautiful black velvet.

Limited quantities are available for the new Fluevog x Jimi Hendrix collection—shop The Derby Swirl and The Pilgrim below! New styles available online only.

“If ever a product line has drawn from the very essence of the Hendrix experience, this one has. Fluevog has truly grasped the signature style and energy of Jimi and created pieces that could very well have come out of his closet. The “wow effect” that Jimi unveiled every time he appeared is definitely there! Each intricate detail is a bold expression of his sense of fashion. I’ve long been a fan of John Fluevog’s designs and I’m absolutely smitten with what we have worked together to create. I think the world will be equally dazzled!” — Janie Hendrix

“I feel such a sense of privilege to be connected to such a cultural icon as Jimi and it was truly a pleasure to connect and work with Janie Hendrix on this project. We went deep into Jimi’s clothes, style and overall journey and I can envision him swinging down the streets of London in this collection looking perfect. We’re so proud of it and we’d like to think Jimi would approve.” — John Fluevog
