Tout comme John, la Rigas des Executor s’est réinventée plusieurs fois au fil du temps, et lorsque le résultat est si réussi, nul besoin de revenir à l’arrière. Comportant désormais un tirant JF, cette version affinée de la bottine cambrée garde son charme ludique avec ses soufflets élastiques d’une forme unique et son cuir contrasté. Execute your will. Rigas est un peu étroite. Vous voudrez probablement la porter avec une chaussette habillée. Une personne ayant les pieds très étroits pourra probablement prendre une demi-pointure plus petite si ses orteils sont très longs.

Defective materials
The new blue patent leather rigas are indeed gorgeous shoes. People regularly stop me on the street to comment on how stylish they are. Sadly, the material the shoes are made with is majorly flawed. After just six wearings of the shoes, the patent leather material began to separate from itself, ruining the whole shoe. When I called my local Fluevog store to explain the situatin, they acknowledged that they had gotten multiple complaints about this with this model and were happy to offer a refund if I return the shoe which I appreciate. That said, it is disappointing that an error like this (did no one test the material thoroughly before putting these into production?) happened and I'm sort of surprised that Fluevog is continuing to sell what is essentially a defective shoe out of the box.

Show stoppers
I own some flamboyant Fluevogs but none that are also this comfortable. The hot pink leather is silky smooth and handled a break-in day of museum-going and pre-dinner strolling with ease. My wife tells me they also turned every head on South Camac street in Philly. Definitely to be worn with a tightly tapered pant, these beauties are going to be favorites for sure.

My God, Make More Like These
I now own both the pink and the black. It really is a *hot pink* and you will get noticed, but if you’ve good with that, they are like a fine glove. Comfortable to wear, easy to walk in (no issues at all with the longer toe). Easy on, durable feel, great sole.
Ditto the black, with more ultra refined elegance to the look. As a ardent Nathan fan, I dare say these will be dangerous if more styles come out...

N love with a shoe
I waited a whole summer and tried them on about 5 times until finally i broke down and purchased them. since then I have bought many more vogs and have become a dedicated shopper..although sometimes i have to turn the other way when i see the store. but i love the shoes! :-B

snazzy shoes
these are great looking shoes, a bit narrow but they seem to stretch... they're really dressy, not for hiking, and when i do workshops people always notice them, no matter how many people are in the room or how far away (or close) i am. they once stopped a line-up at the airport; the X-ray guy was putting them through the machine and then called all the staff over to see the shoes and they all agreed they were great shoes and then stopped to write down the name of the store. ,-)

Great Boots
I happened by the store and these boots called to me. Very comfortable from the first fitting. A bit long and narrow. I normally wear a 10.5 but the 10 was a good fit. I bought the brown but will be adding the black

Bummed
I have been a Fluevoger for years and my last purchase late September 2013 of these and three other pairs just didn't have the quality that I had come to expect. ALL FOUR PAIRS completely fell apart and or become unwearable within about 11 months. I bought these in brown and black BTW. I am disabled (walk on a cane) and am a little rough on shoes because of this but I still have older pairs that are kicking YEARS later. Sadly this may be my last Fluevog memory.

I got the black neon Rigas. The panels do eventually get dirty but the dirt comes out pretty well if you use a little rubbing alcohol or tear off a piece of one of those magic eraser scrubbing pads to use on it. I like the fit and feel of these. Long toe but round. Very elegant shape. Under the arch the leather is sort of floppy on my pair, like it wasn't lasted very tight in that spot or something. I don't know if others have had this problem but I still wear them cause its on the inside of the shoe and they were a pretty good deal for a chelsea boot with a nice shape. The rubber is very grippy and seems to be hard wearing. I like them!

Experience life in your own boots.
If only boots could talk. I have owned these boots for 4 years and have put them through the ultimate test. I routinely wear these in 45C temperatures in rural Costa Rica, in the mud, in the dust, and unfortunately they have on occasion been through a variety of animal waste. The next day they can be polished up and worn under a BOSS suit in the boardroom in the city. These were comfortable since day one and I still get compliments from women whether its a dusty bar or a dance club. Its almost time for the these to be retired and I can't wait to get a new pair, these are the ultimate boots.

The neon panels seem cool but they are not going to look so good once you try and polish them! Please bring back the all black Riga's!!!

I want them back
Yes...I want to these to come back into production. I love these and own both the black and brown pair. I'm currently on my second pair of them in brown as I wore the other two out. I wore and wear them all the time. My original Executors lasted 5 years.....and now they don't have the black pair in my size and Mistah Fluevog is no longer going to produce the Executor Rigas. *-O I love them sooo much and they fit like a glove from the first day I bought them. :-) I guess All good things must come to an end? Sadness. (:`(

It is not confirmed, but we did see a Rigas sample on John's desk the other. It's very possible they might be back!
Nice but....
These shoes are very very fragile. I have worn mine out about 12 times and the little snake skin covering is already flaking off the outside.

Warning
Don't buy these unless you are comfortable receiving compliments from beautiful women.
These are my 5th pair of Vogs, and while I get compliments on all of them, these definitely draw the most attention.
As an extra bonus, the leather is very supple, so they are comfortable right out of the box; no break-in required.

Second Pair
I got the Rigas after the Conrads and i love them. They are very casual, extremely comfortable, but can feel a bit flat on the foot (plan on extra soil padding inside). Also, the Brown version (i own Brown and Burgendy LE) seems to lose its spark quite rapidly as the brown becomes a bit faded, unfortunately.

I am not a big fan of animal print or animal skin textures, but this Burgundy faux snake Riga is really cool (even my vegan wife thinks it's great looking). It might also be the best fitting boot I've ever had.
