Venables de la collection East End n’est probablement pas la sorte de chaussure qui se retrouve dans votre guide touristique, mais plutôt celle dont vous entendrez parler si vous êtes parmi les initiés. Un amalgame brillant de détails empruntés aux designs du passé, la Venables transforme un élégant bottillon à boutons en articles du quotidien avec une fermeture éclair intérieure et un talon Mezzo enrobé de cuir de 6,5 cm (2,5"). Tout comme l’autre East Ender, Gladstone, elle est fabriquée d’un cuir lisse, d’une semelle en caoutchouc et a des pièces en métal.

I sized up, thankfully
I took much of the advice from reviews, thank you! I sized up to a 9 1/2 which is a half size larger than I'd typically order in regular shoes.
I find these are short in the toes so the 9 1/2 gave me comfortable space in the toe box for my long toes but not leaving the boot sloppy.
The heel is a bit higher than I expected it to be. I'm wondering if the height is listed without the heel cap.
These boots are very supportive & comfortable on my feet so hopefully the heel height won't be too much of an issue. (heel height can be challenging as I'm getting older but getting older is so liberating in a weird way. Don't dread getting older, look after your health but embrace it!)
I'd give these shoes a 4 out of 5.

Venables
Bought these in the Brown and the color is beautiful. A rusty brown shade. I did find these fit a bit more snug in width than other East Ends I have purchased. They are really classy looking!

Luv my boots!!!
I absolutely adore these boots! They are stunning you can dress them up or down! They are like wearing slippers…so comfortable! I am in between a 6 & 6.5 and ordered the 6.5… they are perfect! Thanks to the consultant who helped me choose my right size! Would recommend to purchase!

Needed to size up
These are lovely boots. My usual 8.5 was too short in the toe so I'm exchanging for a 9.

Love love love!
I am very picky with heels, my feet like to be pampered. That said, these are not only beautiful and classy but very comfortable as well. I can run around in them for hours which is rare for me in a heel. I want to buy every pair and every color in this family. The buttons are a cute accent as well. I tend to wear a 6.5 in a wide toe box, 7 in narrow, and 7 is perfect for me with these. I can even wear socks on cool days. Thanks, Fluevog!

Perfect wedding boots
I bought these as the only article of clothing I chose all by myself, for myself, on my wedding day and I could not have been happier. They brought this really romantic look back down to earth for me. They were SO COMFORTABLE THE ENTIRE NIGHT. I had only worn them once prior to the big day to make sure I wouldn't blister, and guess what? Not even a sore spot! I never had to take them off the entire night through. This was my first pair but they will certainly not be my last. <3

Love at first sight
Lol I stalked these boots for a few months waiting to see if the price might drop (sending 2 kids to college) but finally gave in. After all I really needed to replace black dressy boots, Prada’s with 4” heels that my son splashed puke on after a blood draw many years ago!! I had to exchange my regular size 7 for 7.5 but the lady in MN was so kind and accommodating.

These are my favourite fluevog boots
I bought these 2 years ago in Montreal and I am very, very happy with them. They are my go to daily boot. They look awesome with jeans and dresses. I did go up a half size to 9.5 from my regular 9's so I can wear warm socks in them. I have worn them in the harsh Nova Scotia winter and they still look fabulous. It is the only fluevog that I considered buying a back up pair for when these beauties wear out. These boots rock!

In Love
These are the boots I didn't know I was looking for my whole life. I admired from afar for a long time before pulling the trigger and purchasing these beauties. These boots are everything I hoped for and more. They fit true to size and are so comfortable. I have slim feet and ankles and they hug my leg perfectly. These look great with pants or skirts. The antiqued buttons and leather is gorgeous. The color is a rusty brown, which you rarely see but coordinates with many other colors; quite neutral but not boring. I like how the heel has a lot of style, but is imminently walkable. I'm so happy I own these!

Gorgeous and so comfy. May be my favorite Fluevog ankle boots so far. I tried them on last summer, and they stuck with me until I ordered them four months later. Like others, my toes really appreciate the wider toe box. The heels are just a bit lower than Operettas, which makes them much better for standing around on tired feet (although there are lots of us out here who'd die for even lower, 2"-inch heels!) I wear a 9.5 in regular shoes, 10.5 in Operettas, and ended up with an 11 in the Venables to get my high arches into the fairly narrow ankle opening. A nice cushy sheepskin insole made them just the right size, with the added benefit of making them even comfier.

Oh So Pretty, But Too Small
These ankle boots are very sharp looking. Sadly, I am having to return them because I normally wear a size 11 shoe, but they run small.

When faced with both the Gladstone and Venables in brown I dithered only a moment--Venables just had a clean, classy look that really got me. I thought this family might fit similar to the Mezzo as I had the Cecilia in 8 (and they seemed a bit large), but discovered the last is a bit different and thus I needed an 8.5, and I wear them with a thin-medium sock. Super comfy straight away.

Pretty as a Picture
Gorgeous little ankle boot! When I saw these beauties online I couldn't stop thinking about them. It was love and Tamara at the Vancouver Gastown Store was my go to girl to make this union a reality. Quick Delivery!!! They are true to size just as Tamara said. I float between 8.5 and 9 in Vogs as my left foot is slightly longer. I ordered these in 8.5 and they are spot on. My foot and heel are on the narrow side and the boot holds my foot in place without any slipping given the 2.5 inch heel. Well done yet again Mr. John Fluevog. Just perfect!
